<p style="text-align: left;"><b>Summary</b>:<br>Paul repeats the instruction that anyone unwilling to work should not eat. He has heard that some believers are living undisciplined lives, doing no work and interfering in the affairs of others. He commands and urges them in the Lord Jesus Christ to work quietly and provide for themselves. The other believers are told not to grow weary of doing good. If anyone refuses to obey the instruction in the letter, the church is to take note of that person and withdraw association so that the person may feel ashamed. Even so, they must not treat the person as an enemy, but admonish them as a fellow believer.<br><br><br><b>Teaching</b>:<br>God delights in those who work diligently and carry out their responsibilities well.<br><br>Do not become lazy. Jesus did not choose personal comfort. He became human and gave His body to die on the cross. If we believe in Him, we should remember His sacrifice and respond with obedience. We must not serve merely with words, but also through practical action. When financial support is needed, we should give. When time is needed, we should devote our time.<br><br>Therefore, may God’s holy people in this church be diligent and faithful.
