천성경 (증) - 395. 교회장과 전도

1 통일교회의 현재 입장을 보면, 지금까지 책임자들이 해왔던 활동방법을 갖고는 앞으로 혁신적인 발전을 기대할 수 없습니다. 옛날의 사고방식과 옛날의 생활태도, 혹은 옛날의 전도 방법이나 신앙자세를 그냥 그대로 가지고 있으면 안 됩니다. 이제까지 그런 식으로 걸어 나왔지만, 오늘날 기대할 만한 결과를 가져오지 못했기 때문입니다. 좋은 결과를 가져왔다면 모르지만 그렇지 못한 입장에 있는 것을 볼 때, 과거와 같은 신앙자세와 생활태도, 전도 방법에서 벗어나 새롭게 달라진 모습이 되지 않으면 안 됩니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리가 새로운 신앙자세, 새로운 생활태도, 새로운 행동을 제시하지 않고는 새로운 발전을 가져오기 어렵습니다.

심정 기준을 먼저 세워야
2 발전은 우리에게 가장 필요한 것입니다. 그러나 그 발전을 추구하기 전에 자기 자체 내의 순수성을 어떻게 조성하느냐 하는 것이 더 문제입니다. 그래서 여러분에게는 기도하는 시간이 필요하고 정성 들이는 시간이 필요합니다. 정성은 그냥 들여서는 안 됩니다. 과거를 청산하고 들여야 됩니다. 과거의 의식이 남아 있다면 그 의식이 나를 어디로 끌고 가겠느냐 하는 생각을 해야 됩니다. 과거의 의식에 내가 도취하여 얼마나 강한 입장에 서 있느냐 하는 문제를 두고 과거가 순수했느냐고 비판해야 된다는 것입니다. 순수한 입장에 처해 있다면 선했느냐 하는 것을 비판해야 되고, 현재 그런 입장에 서 있느냐 하는 것을 비판해야 됩니다. 또 내가 바라는 소원이 순수한가 하는 것을 비판해야 됩니다. 순수한 선의 입장이란 무엇입니까? 자기를 위하는 데에는 순수한 선은 존속할 수 없습니다. 선은 자기를 강화시키는 데에는 존속하지 않습니다. 선은 하나님을 모시기 위한 바탕이기 때문입니다. 선 가운데서 하나님을 모신다는 것은 선의 주인으로 하나님을 모시는 것입니다. 선의 주인은 타락한 인간이 아니라 하나님입니다.

3 지방에 나가 전도할 때, 먼저 그 마을 사람들과 내적인 면에서 일체를 이루어야 합니다. 내적인 일치란 심정통일을 말합니다. 그다음엔 생활통일, 이념통일의 기준을 연결시켜 나가야 합니다. 현실적인 무대에서 하나님을 중심삼고 마음과 몸이 하나되어야 합니다. 즉 하나님과 마음이 일치된 거기에 몸이 굴복해야 한다는 것입니다. 그래야 소생·장성·완성의 3점을 연결시킬 수 있습니다. 개인적으로 그렇게 갈 뿐만 아니라 이 민족을 그렇게 이끌고 가야 합니다.

4 목회자 중에 자기는 천적 완성 기준에 섰다고 생각하며 자신에게 모심과 경의를 표해 주기를 요구하는 사람이 있습니다. 그것은 큰 잘못입니다. 모심을 받는 것보다 모셔 주고 위해 주는 것이 부모 입장입니다. 형제 입장에서 보면 아벨입니다. 부모 입장에서 보면 부자관계입니다. 자신은 아벨이므로 가인이 모셔야 한다고 생각하는 것은 큰 잘못입니다. 무엇을 위한 아벨인가 하면, 부모의 입장을 복귀하기 위한 아벨입니다. 그러므로 아벨은 부모의 심정을 먼저 갖지 않으면 될 수 없습니다. 그것이 원칙입니다. 형제끼리 아벨이라고 생각하여 부모로서의 입장을 잊어버리고 있는 사람이 많습니다. 그 결함을 빨리 일소하지 않으면 안 됩니다.

5 우리는 발전할 수 있는 내용을 충분히 갖고 있습니다. 시대적인 여건과 환경도 완전히 구비되어 있습니다. 그런데 발전을 못하는 것은 왜 그렇습니까? 이 시대와 입장, 현재의 처한 환경, 마을이면 마을에 플러스되고 있지 않기 때문입니다. 이익을 주고 있지 않기 때문입니다. 만일 물질적인 면에서 이익을 못 주었다고 하더라도 정신적인 면에서라도 너나 할 것 없이 이익을 받고 있다는 사실을 절실히 느끼게 하면 교회에 오지 말라고 해도 오게 되어 있습니다.

6 교회가 발전하지 못하는 원인은 어디에 있느냐? 그것은 전도된 사람에게 끝까지 관심을 가져 주지 못하기 때문입니다. 전도한 사람에 대해 시일이 지남에 따라서 점점 더 관심을 가져야 하는데도 불구하고, 전도할 때는 관심을 가지지만 전도를 하고 나서는 무관심해진다는 것입니다. 적어도 3년까지는 어느 때를 막론하고 관심을 가져 주어야 됩니다. 왜 그러냐? 사람의 심령 정도는 점점 발전합니다. 처음 원리를 들었을 때와 1년 뒤의 입장이 다르다는 것입니다. 1년이 지나게 되면 원리 안팎에 대한 입체적인 내용을 이해하게 됩니다. 그것을 이해하면 이해할수록 원리에 대해 알고 싶은 마음이 더 갈급해지는 것입니다. 그래서 자기를 지도할 수 있는 사람과 접근하고 싶어지는 것입니다. 이런 사람에게 시간을 더 투입해 세부적인 계획을 세워서 내면적으로 갈구하는 그 마음을 해결해 주어야 합니다.

7 교회가 왜 발전하지 못하느냐? 그것은 책임자가 남을 위한다는 내용을 가지고 살지 못하기 때문입니다. 그러니 영계에서 협조를 안 하는 것입니다. 책임자들이 식구들에게 시킬 줄은 알지만 식구들의 심부름을 할 줄은 모르고 있습니다. 문제는 거기에 있습니다. 95퍼센트 남을 위해서 살겠다는 책임자가 없기 때문에 발전을 못하는 것입니다.

8 전도란 사탄세계를 버리고 웃으면서 하늘길을 따라오게 하는 것입니다. 하늘나라로 인도하는 것입니다. 여러분을 보게 되면 전도한다고 그저 그 사람이 좋아하든 안 하든 강제로 ‘오소, 오소.’라고 하는데 그래서는 안 됩니다. 사람은 영물이기 때문에, 여러분이 어떤 한 사람을 두고 기도해 보고 한번 실험해 보라는 것입니다. 어떤 한 사람을 지극히 사랑하고, 그를 뜻 앞에 세우기 위해서 아픈 심정을 가지고 눈물을 흘려 보라는 것입니다. 그리고 연구해 봐야 됩니다. 진정 그의 부모가 사랑하는 자리 이상의 자리에 내가 어떻게 나가느냐 하는 것이 문제입니다. 이것이 싸움입니다. 그의 어머니 아버지 이상의 마음을 갖고 내가 어떻게 그를 점령하고 나서느냐, 이것이 문제입니다.

9 아벨이 플러스라면 가인은 마이너스입니다. 사탄세계에 대해서 내가 플러스, 아벨의 자리에 있습니다. 전도는 사탄세계의 플러스를 하늘세계의 마이너스가 되게끔 복종하게 만드는 것입니다. 창조하는 것입니다. 나하고 하나될 수 있도록 만드는 재창조입니다. 싫어서는 안 됩니다. 기뻐서 해야 됩니다. 하나님이 천지를 창조할 때에 기쁨으로 지었지 슬픔으로 지었습니까? 그러니 자기가 어려운 것보다, 힘든 것보다도 더 놀라운 사랑을 줘야 합니다. 내가 전체를 위해서 있다고 생각할 때는, 전체를 위해 주려고 하면 그 사람이 전체 앞에 주체가 됩니다. 재창조가 되는 것입니다. 투입하는 것입니다. 재창조가 다 끝난 다음에 내가 주체가 되는 것입니다. 그 주체 앞에는 전체가 좋다고 머리 숙이는 것입니다.

天聖経 (增) - 395. 教会長と伝道

1　統一教会の現在の立場を見れば、今まで責任者たちがしてきた活動方法をもってしては、これから革新的な発展を期待できません。昔の考え方と昔の生活態 度、もしくは昔の伝道方法や信仰姿勢をただそのままもっていてはいけないのです。今までそのようにして歩んできましたが、今日、期待するほどの結果をもた らせなかったからです。良い結果をもたらしたのであれば分かりませんが、そのようにできなかったことを見るとき、過去のような信仰姿勢と生活態度、伝道方 法から抜け出し、新たに変化した姿にならなければなりません。そのため、私たちが新しい信仰姿勢、新しい生活態度、新しい行動を提示しなければ、新しい発 展をもたらすことは難しいのです。

心情基準をまず立てなければならない
2　発展は、私たちに最も必要なものです。しかし、その発展を追求する前に、自分自体内の純粋さをどのように造成するかということがもっと問題です。です から、皆さんには、祈る時間が必要であり、精誠を捧げる時間が必要です。精誠は何となく捧げてはいけません。過去を清算して捧げなければならないのです。 過去の意識が残っていれば、その意識が「私」をどこに引っ張っていくかということを考えなければなりません。過去の意識に私が陶酔し、どれほど強力な立場 に立っているかという問題を中心として、過去は純粋だったのかと批判してみなければならないというのです。
 純粋な立場で、それが善であったかどうかを批判しなければならず、現在はそのような立場に立っているのかを批判しなければなりません。また、私が望む願い が純粋なのかを批判しなければなりません。
 純粋な善の立場とは何でしょうか。自分のために生きるところでは、純粋な善は存続できません。善は自分を強化させるところでは存続しないのです。善は、神 様に侍るための基台だからです。善の中で神様に侍るということは、善の主人である神様に侍るということです。善の主人は、堕落した人間ではなく神様です。


3　地方に出ていって伝道するとき、まずその村の人々と内的な面で一体にならなければなりません。内的な一体とは、心情統一を意味します。その次に生活統 一、理念統一の基準を連結させていかなければなりません。現実的な舞台において、神様を中心として心と体が一つにならなければなりません。すなわち、神様 と一体となった心に、体が屈服しなければならないということです。そうしてこそ、蘇生、長成、完成の三点を連結させることができます。個人的にそのように 歩むだけでなく、この民族をそのように導いていかなければなりません。


4　牧会者の中に、自分が天的完成基準に立ったと考え、自分に侍って敬意を表することを要求する人がいます。それは大きな誤りです。侍られるより、侍って あげ、与えるのが父母の立場です。兄弟の立場で見れば、アベルです。父母の立場で見れば、父子関係です。自分はアベルなので、カインが侍らなければならな いと考えるのは、大きな誤りです。何のためのアベルかというと、父母の立場を復帰するためのアベルです。ですから、父母の心情を先にもたなければ、アベル になれません。それが原則です。兄弟同士でアベルだと考え、父母としての立場を忘れてしまう人が多いのです。その欠陥を早く一掃しなければなりません。


5　私たちは発展できる内容を十分にもっています。時代的な条件と環境も、完全に具備されています。ところが、発展できないのはなぜでしょうか。この時代 と立場、現在の置かれた環境、村であれば村に、プラスになっていないからです。利益を与えていないからです。もし物質的な面で利益を与えられなかったとし ても、精神的な面ででも、誰もが利益を受けているという事実を切実に感じるようになれば、「教会に来るな」と言っても来るようになっているのです。


6　教会が発展できない原因は、どこにあるのでしょうか。それは、伝道した人に、最後まで関心をもってあげられないからです。伝道した人に対して、時がた つにつれてだんだんと、さらに関心をもたなければならないにもかかわらず、伝道するときは関心をもっても、伝道をしてからは無関心になるというのです。少 なくとも三年までは、どのようなときでも関心をもってあげなければなりません。
なぜでしょうか。人の心霊の程度は徐々に発展します。初めて原理を聞いたときと、一年後の立場は違うというのです。一年が過ぎれば、原理の内外に対する立 体的な内容を理解するようになります。それを理解すれば理解するほど、原理について知りたい気持ちがより強くなるのです。それで、自分を指導できる人と接 近したいと思うようになるのです。このような人に時間をもっと投入し、細かい計画を立て、内面的に渇望するその心を解決してあげなければなりません。


7　教会が発展できないのはなぜでしょうか。それは責任者が、他のために生きるという内容をもって生きることができていないからです。ですから、霊界から 協助しないのです。責任者は、食口に命令することは知っていますが、食口の使いをすることは知らないというのです。問題はそこにあります。自分の生活の九 五パーセントを人のために生きようという責任者がいないので、発展できないのです。


8　伝道とは、サタン世界を捨てて、喜びながら天の道に従ってくるようにすることです。天の国に導くのです。皆さんを見れば、伝道すると言って、その人が 喜ぼうが喜ぶまいが、ただ無理やり「来なさい、来なさい」と言っていますが、それではいけません。人は霊的存在です。
 皆さんは、ある一人の人に対して祈り、一度実験してみなさいというのです。ある一人の人をこの上なく愛し、その人をみ旨の前に立たせるために、苦しい心情 をもって涙を流してみなさいというのです。そして、研究してみなければなりません。本当にその人の父母が愛する立場以上の場に、「私」がどのようにして行 くのかということが問題です。これが闘いです。その人の父母以上の心をもち、私がどのようにしてその人を占領していくのか、これが問題です。


9　アベルがプラスならば、カインはマイナスです。サタン世界に対して私がプラス、アベルの位置にいるのです。伝道は、サタン世界のプラスが天の世界のマ イナスになるように、服従させることです。創造するのです。私と一つになれるようにする再創造です。嫌々やってはいけません。喜んでしなければなりませ ん。神様は、天地創造をするときに喜びでもって造られたのです。悲しみで造られたのではありません。
ですから、自分の困難なことや大変なことよりも、それ以上に驚くべき愛を与えなければなりません。自分が全体のためにいると考えるときは、全体のために与 えようとすれば、その人が全体の前に主体となります。再創造になるのです。投入するのです。再創造がすべて終わったあとに、自分が主体になるのです。その 主体の前には、全体が喜んで頭を下げるのです。

Cheon Seong Gyeong Ⅱ - 395. Witnessing and Pastoral Care

1 Considering the current situation of the Unification Church, we cannot expect any innovative developments in the future as long as the leaders cling to the same methods they have been using thus far. We must not just hold on to old ways of thinking, old attitudes, old methods of witnessing or existing approaches to faith. This is because these methods have not met our expectations in bringing results. It would be different had we achieved good results. However, since we have not, we should abandon our conventional faith and life, as well as witnessing methods, and transform ourselves into new and different people. Unless we come up with a new attitude of faith, a new attitude in life and new activities, it will be difficult to bring new development.( 030-120,19700321)


The standard of heart comes first
2 We all need to grow. However, before we pursue growth, more important is cultivating a pure heart. Therefore you need to take the time to pray and offer devotion. You should not offer devotion just the way you are. First you need to clean up your past. If your old concepts persist, you should consider where those concepts could drag you. You who are immersed in old concepts and stubbornly cling to them must eval‎‎uate yourself, and determine whether your past was pure. If you believe you were pure, consider whether you have been good and whether you are currently situated in a good position. Also, you need to eval‎‎uate whether your desires are pure. What is pure goodness? It is not living for your own sake. It is not strengthening yourself. Goodness is serving and attending God, as the owner of goodness. The owner of goodness is God, not fallen people.( 036-106,19701122)


3 When you go out to rural areas to witness, you should first attain internal unity with the people of that village. Internal unity refers to unity of heart. Then you need to attain unity with their life and thoughts. This means that your mind and body need to unite centered on God, as a reality in daily life. In other words, the mind attains a state of total unity with God, and then the body surrenders to the mind. That is how you connect the three points of formation, growth and completion. Do not follow this path just as an individual, but also take people with you as you travel this path.( 013-302,19640412)


4 Some church leaders believe they have reached the standard of Heavens perfection and demand that others serve, attend and honor them. This is very wrong. The position of a parent is to serve others rather than to be served; to live for the sake of others rather than to have others live for them. From the viewpoint of brothers and sisters, a church leader is in the position of Abel. From the viewpoint of a parent, a church leader is in a parent-child relationship with members. That is why it is very wrong for a leader to think that Cain should serve him or her in the position of Abel. For what does Abel exist? Abel exists to restore the position of a parent. Therefore you cannot become Abel without first having the heart of a parent. That is the principle. Yet many have forgotten that their position is to become a parent, thinking of themselves only as Abel in a relationship between siblings. You need to rid yourself of that wrong concept as quickly as possible.( 035-258,197010)


5 We have plenty of content by which to grow. We are also fully equipped with the favorable conditions and environment that have been given to us in this age. Then why are we unable to grow? It is because we are not adding anything to the people of this age or to the environment they are living in. Simply put, we are not benefiting them in any way. Although we are unable to benefit others materially, if we can make people feel deeply that they can benefit from us spiritually or mentally, then they are bound to come to church even if told not to come.( 056-016,19720510)


6 Why is our church not growing? It is because the church fails to take care of new members to the end. Instead of showing greater interest in them as time passes, the church pays attention to them only when they are being witnessed to. Once they join the church, they are neglected. The church needs to pay attention to new members for at least three years, no matter what. Why is this the case? People's spirituality develops gradually. Their state when they first listened to the Principle is different from their state one year later. After a year they are able to understand the multidimensional content of the Principle both internally and externally. The more deeply they understand its content, the thirstier they become. They have a craving to learn more about the Principle, and they will want to meet people who can teach them about it. Therefore the church needs to invest more time in such people. It needs to make a detailed plan about how it will satisfy the internal cravings of their hearts.( 029-191,19700228)


7 Why can’t the church grow? It is because its leaders do not live for the sake of others. Therefore the spirit world does not cooperate with them. The leaders know how to tell the members what to do, but they do not know that they need to run errands for the members. Therein lies the problem. The church cannot grow because the leaders are not willing to live ninety-five percent of their lives for others.( 134-254,19850720)


8 Witnessing is the activity of leading people to leave Satan's world behind and follow the path to Heaven with a smile. It is an activity to guide them to the heavenly kingdom. When you try to witness to others, I see you telling them forcibly, "Come, come," regardless of whether they want to or not. You should not do that. People are spiritual beings. So, as an experiment, try praying for a certain person. Try loving that person sincerely and shedding tears with an anguished heart to bring that person before the Will. Then study what happens. The issue is how you can truly advance to the position where you can love that person more than his or her parents do. It is a battle. The issue is whether you can win over that person by demonstrating a heart greater than that of his or her mother and father.( 050-279,1971 1108)


9 Abel is in the plus position whereas Cain is in the minus position. In relation to Satan's world, you are in the position of plus, or Abel. Witnessing is to bring the plus of Satan's world to obey, so that it can become the minus of Heavens world. Thus, witnessing is the act of creation. That is, it is to re-create that person so that he or she unites with you. Therefore, you should be glad to witness to him or her. You should do it joyfully. When God created heaven and earth, did He do it out of joy or sorrow? He did it out of joy. Likewise, you should invest amazing love for that person rather than thinking about the difficulties and hardships of witnessing. Thinking that you exist for others, if you care for others you will become their subject partner. You can re-create others by investing yourself. When their re-creation is completed you become their subject partner, and they will all happily bow their heads before you.( 108-084,19800622)
