<p style="text-align: left;"><b>Summary</b>:<br>Paul gives thanks to Christ Jesus, who strengthened him, considered him faithful, and appointed him to service despite his former life as a blasphemer, persecutor, and violent aggressor. He received mercy because he had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of Christ overflowed toward him with faith and love. Paul presents himself, the foremost of sinners, as an example of Christ’s perfect patience toward those who would later believe in Him for eternal life. He concludes by giving honor and glory forever to the eternal, immortal, invisible, and only God.<br><br> <br><br><b>Teaching</b>:<br>How did someone who had once been the worst of sinners become an apostle? It was because God had mercy on him. He received God’s grace and compassion.<br><br>The same is true for us and explains why we are able to attend church today. Without God’s grace and mercy, we could neither attend church nor learn His Word. God patiently endured our former ways and continued to lead us until we came this far. The grace that has brought us this far is the grace of the Lord, and this grace is found in Christ Jesus.<br><br>We must faithfully carry out the responsibilities entrusted to us. Rather than interfering in the affairs of others, we should have compassion on them and, whenever possible, help with their work.
