Summary:
Paul explains that there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. This testimony was revealed at the proper time, and Paul was appointed as a preacher, apostle, and teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Teaching:
Paul clearly understood why God had appointed him as an apostle and why God had led him from one place to another. He clearly recognized God’s purpose for his life.
An apostle is one who proclaims the Word, and one who proclaims the Word carries out the work of an apostle. Pastors proclaim the Word, and deacons also proclaim the Word. In other words, every worker in the church is called to proclaim the Word. They must not give priority to other work.
Therefore, those who proclaim the Word must first know the Word. To proclaim it throughout our lives, the Word must dwell within us. The Word must be expressed through what we say and how we live.
