천성경 (증) - 425. 남북통일과 세계평화

1 아시아의 동녘에 있는 작은 한반도, 그중에서도 한민족은 배척받은 민족이요, 쫓김 받는 무리였습니다. 하나님은 쫓김 받는 이 무리를 통하여 세계적인 섭리의 주권을 세워서 새로운 시대를 창건하려 하였습니다. 이 민족이 말세적인 환난과 도탄에 빠져 있는 이 세계, 민주와 공산세계가 서로 맞부딪치는 환경 속에서 제물이 된 원인이 어디에 있습니까? 바로 거기에 있습니다. 그런 의미에서 한국은 공산세계에서도 민주세계에서도 중요한 나라입니다.

한반도의 섭리적 의미
2 한국은 역사시대의 모든 종교와 인류를 하나님의 뜻에 맞게끔 수습해서 통일적인 세계와 통일적인 천국을 건설할 수 있는 책임을 하는 나라가 되어야 합니다. 문화 배경을 중심삼고 남북이 통일되어 그러한 자리를 잡고 들어설 때는 세계의 종교를 움직이고 세계 만민을 움직일 수 있는 자리에 서야만 이스라엘을 택하신 하나님의 뜻에 일치될 수 있는 종교권이 현현하고, 하나님의 뜻에 일치될 수 있는 민족권, 국가권이 형성되는 것입니다. 한국은 남북으로 딱 갈라졌습니다. 타락은 몸과 마음이 갈라진 것입니다. 세계적으로 볼 때 북쪽은 유물론으로 물질 위주이고, 또 남쪽은 유심론으로 마음 위주입니다. 이것은 아담 해와가 몸과 마음을 뿌려 놓은 것이 전 세계적으로 열매맺혀서 결실된 것과 마찬가지입니다.

3 한국은 남북으로 갈라져 있기 때문에 아무리 민족을 찾았다고 하더라도 하나의 주권을 찾을 수 없습니다. 남북으로 갈라져 있기 때문에 하나의 주권을 찾기 위해서는 민족이 단결하여 싸우지 않으면 안 됩니다. 이 민족이 그렇게 해서 주권을 찾았더라도 그 주권만으로는 다 됐다고 할 수 없습니다. 주권을 찾았으면 세계를 향해서 가야 합니다. 주권을 희생시키는 한이 있더라도 세계를 찾아 나서는 싸움의 행로를 거치지 않고는 하나님이 찾고자 하는 평화통일세계는 오지 않습니다.

4 한국은 삼팔선을 중심삼고 아벨 나라와 가인 나라로 갈라졌습니다. 여기에서 가인 나라인 북한이 아벨 나라인 남한에 굴복하지 않고서는 세계평화가 오지 않습니다. 세계도 크게 보면 민주세계와 공산세계로 갈라져 있습니다. 이 갈라진 민주세계와 공산세계가 접선된 곳이 한국입니다. 그러므로 한국의 통일은 세계통일의 하나의 방안이 될 것입니다.

5 대한민국이 앞으로 세계에서 살아남고, 세계 만민 앞에 환영받을 수 있는 나라가 되기 위해서는 대한민국의 주권과 대한민국을 희생시켜서 세계를 살리겠다고 십자가를 먼저 지는 민족이 되어야 합니다. 십자가를 통하여 승리의 터전이 되어서 평화의 왕국이 건설되는 날에는 십자가를 진 민족이 영광의 출발점에 서는 것입니다.

6 통일교회 사람들은 하나의 씨족과 같은 입장에서 대한민국을 위해 희생해야 됩니다. 희생하게 되면 대한민국은 오늘과 같은 대한민국이 되지 않을 것입니다. 남북으로 갈라진 나라가 아닐 것입니다. 통일된 나라, 하나의 나라, 보다 고차적인 이상으로 북한에 있는 사람들까지도 우리를 좋아할 수 있는 사상에 입각한 나라가 될 것입니다. 그런 나라를 만들어야 합니다. 그들을 교화시켜서 올바른 사람, 즉 하나님을 숭상할 수 있는 사람으로 만들어야 합니다. 그러면 통일된 하나의 나라가 자동적으로 이루어지는 것입니다. 이렇게 하나된 나라를 이루게 되면 그 나라는 세계를 이용하는 나라가 아닙니다. 세계를 위해서 희생하는 참된 나라가 될 것입니다.

7 우리가 탕감복귀라는 엄연한 인과법칙을 섭리역사 과정에서 부정할 수 없는 원칙으로 공인한다면, 이 세계사적인 종말시대에 세계사적인 탕감의 사명을 대신할 수 있는 비참한 나라가 어떤 나라냐? 그 나라는 다름 아닌 한국입니다. 한국이 6·25동란을 통해 삼팔선이라는 대치선을 중심하고 이 민족과는 아무런 관계도 없고 인연도 없었던 좌우의 세계사적 사조 때문에 제물이 되어 피를 흘렸다는 사실은 비참한 일이 아닐 수 없습니다. 세계무대에서 또다시 비참한 운명의 자리를 대표해야 될 입장에 있는 나라가 한국입니다. 이런 사실을 두고 볼 때, 어찌하여 한국은 이러한 운명의 권에 휘몰아침을 당하지 않으면 안 되는가를 생각하게 됩니다. 

8 민주주의와 공산주의가 한국에서 대결하고 있습니다. 판문점을 중심삼고 양대 진영이 서로 갑론을박하고 있는데, 이 사실이 바로 하늘세계와 사탄세계가 서로 싸우는 것을 나타내는 것입니다. 외적으로는 이렇게 한국을 걸어 놓고 대결하고 있지만, 내적으로는 역사적인 사실과 시대적인 사실과 미래적인 사실을 중심삼고 하나님과 사탄이 최후의 대결을 하고 있습니다. 그렇게 함으로써 내적인 탕감조건을 세우지 않으면 안 됩니다. 역사는 이러한 양면적인 관계를 가지고 흘러가고 있습니다.

9 한국은 삼팔선을 중심으로 남과 북으로 갈라져 있습니다. 원리로 볼 때 제물은 쪼개야 됩니다. 그리고 제사장이 제물을 드릴 때는 상하를 막론하고 제단 앞에 머리를 숙이는 것입니다. 속죄의 제물 앞에는 그 나라의 군주도 머리 숙이게 되어 있습니다. 앞으로 통일교회는 민족 전체가 머리 숙일 수 있는 기준을 닦아야 합니다. 그것을 못하면 통일교회의 사명은 완결되지 못합니다.

10 한국이 남한과 북한으로 갈라진 것은 해방 직후에 기독교와 선생님이 하나 못 되었기 때문입니다. 기독교와 나라가 선생님을 반대하고 선생님과 하나 못 되었기 때문입니다. 그래서 나라의 대표와 교회의 대표가 선생님을 중심삼고 갈라졌기 때문에 그것을 재탕감 기반을 닦아 나오는 선생님을 중심삼고 하나가 되어야 합니다. 남한 지역 전체가 선생님에게 순응할 수 있는 기반, 판도가 이미 연결되어 있습니다.

11 하나님은 인류의 조국 되는 한국을 보호하고 조국광복을 위해 한국동란에 세계의 많은 나라를 동원시켰습니다. 조국광복을 위한 독립군으로서 희생한 사람들이 한국동란 참전용사들이었습니다. 한국동란은 하나님의 섭리로 볼 때 조국광복을 위해 피를 흘리게 하기 위한 세계적인 동원이었습니다. 한국동란 당시에 예수님이 공중에 나타났다는 얘기도 이를 뒷받침해 주는 재료입니다. 그리고 예수님의 현현과 더불어 한국동란은 하나님의 성전을 찾기 위한 거룩한 전쟁입니다. 또 한국은 섭리의 뜻이 있는 나라로서 여기에 참부모가 나타나면 이상적 조국이 되기 때문에 조국광복을 위하여 하늘이 민주세계의 기독교사상을 가진 국가들을 동원해서 싸우게 했다는 것입니다.

天聖経 (增) - 425. 南北統一と世界平和

1　アジアの東方にある小さな韓半島、その中でも韓民族は、排斥された民族であり、追われる群れでした。神様は、追われるこの群れを通して、世界的な摂理 の主権を立て、新しい時代を創建しようとしました。この民族が末世的な患難と塗炭の苦しみに陥っているこの世界、民主世界と共産世界が互いにぶつかり合う 環境の中で、祭物になった原因がどこにあるのかというと、正にそこにあるのです。そのような意味で、韓国は、共産世界においても民主世界においても重要な 国なのです。

韓半島の摂理的意味
2 韓国は、歴史時代のあらゆる宗教と人類を、神様のみ旨に合うように収拾して、統一的な世界と統一的な天国を建設するための責任を果たす国にならなけれ ばなりません。文化背景を中心として南北が統一され、そのような位置をつかむことにより、世界の宗教を動かし、世界万民を動かせる位置に立ってこそ、イス ラエルを選ばれた神様のみ旨と一致する宗教圏が顕現し、神様のみ旨に一致する民族圏、国家圏が形成されるのです。韓国は、南北に分かれました。堕落とは、 心と体が分かれたことです。世界的に見るとき、北側は唯物論で物質が主であり、また南側は唯心論で心が主です。これは、アダムとエバの堕落によって心と体 が分かれましたが、それぞれ全世界的に分かれて実を結んだのです。

3 韓国は、南北に分かれているので、いくら民族を取り戻したとしても、一つの主権を取り戻すことはできないのです。一つの主権を取り戻すためには、民族 が団結して闘わなければなりません。この民族がそのようにして主権を取り戻したとしても、その主権だけでは「すべてが成し遂げられた」と言うことはできま せん。主権を取り戻したなら、世界に向かっていかなければなりません。主権を犠牲にすることがあっても、世界を取り戻していく闘いの行路を経なければ、神 様が取り戻そうとされる平和統一の世界は来ないのです。

4 韓国は、三十八度線を中心としてアベル国家とカイン国家に分かれました。ここでカイン国家である北朝鮮がアベル国家である韓国に屈服しなければ、世界 平和が訪れません。世界も大きく見れば、民主世界と共産世界に分かれています。この分かれた民主世界と共産世界が接触した所が韓国です。ですから、韓国の 統一は、世界統一の一つの方案になるでしょう。

5 大韓民国が、今後、世界で生き残り、世界の万民に歓迎される国になるためには、大韓民国の主権と大韓民国を犠牲にして世界を生かそうと、先に十字架を 背負う民族にならなければなりません。十字架を通して勝利の拠点となって平和の王国が建設される日には、十字架を背負った民族が栄光の出発点に立つので す。

6 統一教会の人々は、一つの氏族のような立場において大韓民国のために犠牲にならなければなりません。犠牲になれば、大韓民国は今日のような大韓民国に ならないでしょう。南北に分かれた国ではなくなり、統一された国、一つの国、より高次的な理想によって、北朝鮮にいる人々までも私たちを歓迎する思想に立 脚した国になるでしょう。そのような国をつくらなければなりません。彼らを教化させて、正しい人、すなわち神様をあがめ尊ぶことのできる人にしなければな りません。そうなれば、統一された一つの国が自動的につくられるのです。このように一つになった国を成し遂げるようになれば、その国は世界を利用する国で はありません。世界のために犠牲になる真の国になるのです。

7 私たちが蕩減復帰という厳然たる因果法則を、摂理歴史過程で否定できない原則として公認すれば、この世界史的な終末時代において、世界史的な蕩減の使 命を果たす悲惨な国がなければなりません。それはどの国でしょうか。その国は、ほかでもない韓国です。韓国が六・二五動乱を通して三十八度線という対峙線 を中心として、この民族とは何の関係もなく、縁もなかった左右の世界史的思潮のゆえに、祭物となって血を流したという事実は悲惨なことです。世界舞台にお いて、再び悲惨な運命の位置を代表する立場にある国が韓国です。このような事実を見るとき、どうして韓国は、このような運命圏に追いやられなければならな いのかを考えざるを得ないのです。

8 民主主義と共産主義が韓国で対決しています。板門店を中心として二大陣営がお互いに甲論乙駁しているのですが、この事実が正に、天の世界とサタン世界 がお互いに闘っていることを表しているのです。外的には、このように韓国と北朝鮮が対決していますが、内的には歴史的な事実と時代的な事実と未来的な事実 を中心として、神様とサタンが最後の対決をしているのです。そのようにすることによって、内的な蕩減条件を立てなければなりません。歴史は、このような両 面的な関係をもって流れているのです。

9 韓国は、三十八度線を中心として南と北に分かれています。原理から見るとき、祭物は裂かなければなりません。そして、祭司長が祭物を捧げるときは、上 下を問わず、祭壇の前に頭を下げるのです。贖罪の祭物の前には、その国の君主も頭を下げるようになっています。今後、統一教会は、民族全体がそのようにす る基準を築かなければなりません。それができなければ、統一教会の使命は完結されないのです。

10 韓半島が南北に分かれたのは、解放直後にキリスト教と先生が一つになれなかったからです。キリスト教と国が先生に反対し、先生と一つになれなかった からです。ですから、国の代表と教会の代表が先生を中心として分かれたので、その再蕩減基盤を築き上げてきた先生を中心として一つにならなければなりませ ん。韓国の地域全体が先生に順応できる基盤、版図が既に連結されているのです。

11 神様は、人類の祖国たる韓国を保護し、祖国光復のために韓国動乱に世界のたくさんの国を動員させました。祖国光復のための独立軍として犠牲になった 人々が、韓国動乱の参戦勇士たちでした。韓国動乱は、神様の摂理から見るとき、祖国光復のために血を流させるための世界的な動員でした。韓国動乱当時に、 イエス様が空中に現れたという話も、これを後押しする材料です。そして、イエス様の顕現とともに、韓国動乱は、神様の聖殿を取り戻すための偉大な戦争なの です。また、韓国は、摂理的な意味をもつ国として、ここに真の父母が現れれば理想的な祖国になるので、祖国光復のために天が民主世界のキリスト教思想を もった国家を動員して戦うようにしたというのです。

Cheon Seong Gyeong Ⅱ - 425. Korean Unification and World Peace

1 On the eastern edge of Asia lies the small Korean peninsula. Its people have been oppressed and belittled. However, God is working through this oppressed people to establish a new global realm of providence in order to begin a new age. What led to this nation standing at the frontline in the conflict between democracy and communism, even as humankind is embroiled in the calamities and distresses of the Last Days? The answer lies in the pivotal role that Korea plays for both the communist and democratic camps. (22-145, 1969.02.02)

The providential significance of the Korean peninsula
2 Korea is destined to bring together and harmonize all religions of humankind that have existed throughout history, in accordance with God’s Will. It is the nation that bears the responsibility to build a united world and united kingdom of heaven. When North and South Korea unify on the basis of their shared cultural background, they will influence the world’s religions and peoples to manifest a harmonious religious sphere. Then they also will establish the harmonious spheres of people and nation, fulfilling the Will that God had when He chose Israel. The Korean peninsula is divided into North and South Korea. This is like the division between mind and body at the Fall. The North espouses materialism, while the South is inclined toward idealism based on the mind. The two Koreas reflect this division internationally. We see this situation throughout the world as the fruit of the mind-body conflict that erupted with the fall of Adam and Eve. 3 Korea is divided into North and South. Claims about being one people notwithstanding, its one sovereignty has not been restored. As long as the nation is divided, its people should unite and struggle to restore their one sovereignty. But their task does not end with the recovery of sovereignty. Once it is achieved, the nation has to advance a global vision. Unless the Korean people go through the path of struggle to recover the world, willing even to sacrifice their hard- fought sovereignty, the unified world of peace will not come. (48-309, 1971.09.26)

4 Korea is divided at the thirty-eighth parallel into an Abel nation and a Cain nation. Unless North Korea, which is in the Cain position, voluntarily surrenders to South Korea, in the Abel position, the world of peace will not come. Today's world as a whole is divided into democratic and communist camps, and the Korean peninsula is the frontline between these two blocs. Therefore the unification of Korea will serve as a model for world unification. (34-276, 1970.09.13)

5 If Korea is to be a nation that the world welcomes, the Koreans must become a people who willingly take the lead by shouldering the cross of the world. Koreans have to be willing to sacrifice their nation and its sovereignty for the sake of the world. The kingdom of peace will be built on the victorious foundation of the cross. On that day, the nation that carried the world’s cross will be granted a position of glory. (125-245, 1983.03.27)

6 As Unification Church members, we should be willing to sacrifice for Korea as if we were one of its clans. If we sacrifice for Korea, we will change this nation. It will not remain divided as it is at present. It will become a unified nation, a nation with an ideal so high that even the people of North Korea will wholeheartedly welcome it. We must build such a nation, guiding North Koreans to practice virtue and show reverence for God. If we succeed in this task, the peninsula naturally will come together as one nation. Once unified as a nation, it will not seek to exploit the world. Rather, it will be a true nation, one that sacrifices for the world. (39-272, 1971.01.05)

7 It is indisputable that restoration comes through indemnity. It is based on the law of cause and effect. Then which nation bears the responsibility to pay the miserable indemnity for the world in the Last Days? It is none other than Korea. As a result of the Korean War, Korea was divided along the thirty- eighth parallel. Even though it took no sides in the global conflict between the left and the right, it became a sacrifice t and had to shed blood. Surely, its situa- I tion was miserable. Nevertheless, today Korea ought to stand once again as the ' nation representing the tragic destiny of the world. From this perspective, we ought to reflect deeply upon the reason Korea is driven into the circumstances of this destiny. (63-267, 1972.10.15)

8 Communism and democracy are confronting each other on the Korean peninsula. Both sides argue their case at Panmunjom, yet their actions are but a manifestation of a larger battle between Heaven’s world and Satan’s world. Externally both camps are fighting over Korea, but internally God and Satan are engaged in the ultimate battle over the past, present and future. Therefore, as Koreans, we have to set the internal indemnity conditions whereby history can advance, carrying with it these two camps. (017-309, 1967.04.10)

9 Korea is divided into North and South along the thirty-eighth parallel. Based on the Divine Principle, we understand that a sacrificial offering must be divided. When a high priest presents an offering before the altar the people, regardless of their position, bow their heads. Even the sovereign of a nation bows his head before the offering. Therefore, the Unification Church henceforth must establish a foundation before which all people of Korea will bow their heads. Until it accomplishes this, the Unification Church will not have completed its mission. (015-249, 1965.10.17)

10 Soon after its liberation, Korea was divided into North and South. This happened because Christianity failed to unite with me. The division of Korea occurred because Christianity opposed me and the nation did not unite with me. Since the representatives of the nation and the representatives of religion separated from me, I needed you to unite with me as I endeavored to establish the foundation to indemnify their failures. Now we have established that foundation. We have reached the level where South Koreans throughout the nation can align with me. (165-298, 1987.05.27)

11 Korea is the homeland of the world. In order to protect and liberate this homeland of humankind, God mobilized many countries in the Korean War. The veterans of the Korean War sacrificed themselves for the liberation and independence of their homeland. When viewed from the perspective of God’s providence, the Korean War was a global call to the nations to mobilize their forces and shed blood to liberate their homeland. The report that Jesus’ face appeared in the sky during the Korean War supports this view. Yet more than an apparition of Jesus, the Korean War was sacred in the sense that it was fought to recover God’s temple. As a providential nation, Korea was meant to become the ideal homeland of the True Parents when they appeared. Therefore, God mobilized the nations representing the democratic and Christian world and had them fight to liberate this nation. (119-218, 1982.09.13)
