[眞如華]

     50.

     我們希望自己健康,      快樂,      平安,

     也希望他人健康,      快樂,      平安的

     這種願心,      其中也有自我中心,

     但與自私的自我中心不同,

     乃是利他的菩提心.

     우리가 자신의 건강,

     행복과 평안을 바라고,

     또 타인의 건강,

     행복과 평안도 바라는 이러한 소원이,

     그 속에도 자기중심이 있으나,

     이는 이기적인 자기중심과는 다르니,

     즉 이타의 보리심이다.     

We hope to have health, happiness,

and harmony for ourselves, and

we wish that others may have the same.

Self-interest exists here, but

it is very different from selfishness.

Such an attitude of benefiting

others is known as Bodhi-mind

or bodhichitta.

We hope to have ~ for ourselves

; 우리가 자신의 ~ 바라고

health, happiness, and harmony

; 건강, 행복과 평안을

we wish that others may have the same

; 또 타인의 건강, 행복과 평안도 바라는 이러한 소원이

Self-interest exists here
