You, Man of God (2)

Summary:
Timothy is solemnly charged, in the presence of God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made the good confession before Pontius Pilate, to keep the commandment without fault or reproach until Christ appears. His appearing will take place at the proper time according to God’s authority. God alone is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no human has seen or can see. To Him belong honor and eternal dominion.


Teaching:
For those who sincerely receive these words as the Word of God, all of them are commands.

Every word of God is ultimately a command. It is not merely advice or a recommendation. Therefore, we must live according to the Word. If we avoid or postpone obeying it, we will deeply regret it later.

Believers enter the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is the conclusion of the Bible. It is the fulfillment of the Garden of Eden and the temple. Entering the New Jerusalem is eternal life.

The New Jerusalem is the church. Therefore, as we live within the church and faithfully keep the words of Jesus, we can experience and see the reality of the New Jerusalem even in this life.

To live as a man of God, is the true blessing.
