제 21급......有加(유가)......가중시킴......第309事

  Level 21 : Yu-ga(有加,유가 - Aggravation)... Aggravationg or increasing in severity... Matter 309.

有加(유가)는 악을 가중시킴이다.

   Yu-ga(有加,유가 - Aggravation) means exacerbating or intensifying evil.

악어는 작은 물고기를 삼키지 않고 이리는 작은 짐승에게 눈을 번뜩이지 않는다.

  A crocodile does not swallow tiny fish, and a wolf does not glare at small beasts.

악이 가벼우면 그 치고, 악이 무거우면 행하여 악을 가중시키는 것이니 가히 그 재앙을 받게 되는 것이다.

  If an evil is minor, one strikes it down; but if an evil is severe,

  committing it only aggravates the evil, naturally bringing about disastr upon oneself.

有加者는 加惡也라 (유가자는 가악야라)

  Aggravation(Yu-ga) means increasing or intensifying evil.

鰐은 不呑細泳하고 狼은 不暳殘走니 (악은 불탄세영하고 랑은 불혜잔주니)

  A crocodile does not swallow tiny swimming fish, and a wolf does not glare at small, running beasts.

惡輕則止하고 惡重則行이 加惡也니 可領其禍니라. (악경즉지하고 악중즉행이 가악야니 가령기화니라.)

  If an evil is minor, one stops it; but if an evil is severe, committing it only aggravates the evil,

  which naturally leads to receiving its disaster.

 [Explanation, 풀이]

큰 악인은 작은일에 악하지 않을 수 도 있다.

  A great villain may not act wickedly small matters.

작은 악은 성이 차지 않기 때문이다.

  This is because minor evils fail to satisfy them.

그것을 보고 惡(악)하지 않다는 것은 어리석다.

  It is foolish to see this and conclude that they are not evil.
