126. be busy (in) ~ing ~하느라 바쁘다

                                                                    = be busy with + 명사

-빚진(busyin) 사람은 그 빚을 갚느라 항상 바쁘다.

-~하는 데에(in ~ing) 바쁘니(busy) <~하느라 바쁘다>의 뜻.

-be대신에 get을 쓸 수 있다. get busy –ing도 가능하다.

 

· He is busy (in) preparing for the entrance examination.

= He is busy with preparations for the entrance examination.

(그는 입시를 준비하느라 바쁘다.)

· Jane was busy with glasses and drinks.

(제인은 유리잔과 술을 준비하느라 바빴다.)

· Farmers are busy working in the field.

 (농부들은 밭에서 바쁘게 일하고 있다.)

· His mind was busy making plans for tomorrow.

(그의 마음은 내일의 계획을 세우는 일로 바빴다.)
