청춘

김상언

세월은 흘러가는데

나의 봄날은

그날 건강에 따라

들쑥날쑥 흔들린다.

연분홍 치마 휘날리던

그 봄날은 멀어졌지만,

꿈꾸는 봄날은

오늘도 내 곁에 머문다.

희망을 품고 살아가는 나는

시니어 아가씨

몸은 세월을 따라가도

마음만은 아직 청춘이다.

건강이 잠시 나를 흔들어도

마음까지 쓰러질 수는 없다.

오늘도 나는

웃으며 하루를 맞는다.

당당하게 걸어가는

청춘이여

Youth

Years slip by.

The springtime of my life

changes from day to day,

often according to how I feel.

The spring day

when I strode along in a pale pink skirt

has long since passed away,

yet the springtime of my dreams

remains with me still.

I am a girl at heart who still holds on to hope.

Though my body moves with the passing years,

my heart is still filled with youth.

My body may grow weak at times,

but my spirit never will.

Today again,

I greet a new day with a smile.

What a wonderful youth

still lives within me!
