모압의 멸망사유 +1 하나님의 공로 도둑질 그리고 사기

(사16:1-14)
1 Send lambs as tribute to the ruler of the land, from Sela, across the desert, to the mount of the Daughter of Zion.  2 Like fluttering birds pushed from the nest, so are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.  3 "Give us counsel, render a decision. Make your shadow like night--at high noon. Hide the fugitives, do not betray the refugees.  4 Let the Moabite fugitives stay with you; be their shelter from the destroyer." The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land.  5 In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it--one from the house of David--one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.  6 We have heard of Moab's pride--her overweening pride and conceit, her pride and her insolence--but her boasts are empty.  7 Therefore the Moabites wail, they wail together for Moab. Lament and grieve for the men of Kir Hareseth.  8 The fields of Heshbon wither, the vines of Sibmah also. The rulers of the nations have trampled down the choicest vines, which once reached Jazer and spread toward the desert. Their shoots spread out and went as far as the sea.  9 So I weep, as Jazer weeps, for the vines of Sibmah. O Heshbon, O Elealeh, I drench you with tears! The shouts of joy over your ripened fruit and over your harvests have been stilled.  10 Joy and gladness are taken away from the orchards; no one sings or shouts in the vineyards; no one treads out wine at the presses, for I have put an end to the shouting.  11 My heart laments for Moab like a harp, my inmost being for Kir Hareseth.  12 When Moab appears at her high place, she only wears herself out; when she goes to her shrine to pray, it is to no avail.  13 This is the word the LORD has already spoken concerning Moab.  14 But now the LORD says: "Within three years, as a servant bound by contract would count them, Moab's splendor and all her many people will be despised, and her survivors will be very few and feeble."  

모압땅에서 생산되는 대표적인 산물(産物)을 보니
석회석,소금,향유 및 향료,곡물, 포도, 올리브 등 다양한 농산물,목축물
이러한 풍성한 생산품 덕분에
모압은 늘 기뻐하고 즐거워 했나보다

디본(Dibon)... 모압의 수도로, 그모스(Kemosh) 신전이 있었던 종교 중심지입니다.
헤스본(Heshbon)... 아모리 왕국과의 전쟁 후 모압이 차지했던 전략적 요충지.
메드바(Medeba), 느보(Nebo), 바알므온(Baal-meon)...농업과 종교 활동이 활발했던 지역.
발루(Balu) ... 아르논 골짜기 남쪽에 위치한 고대 도시, 초기 청동기 시대부터 유적이 발견된 중요한 고고학적 산지(山地)

이들에 대해서 오늘의 말씀 6절은 이렇게 보고하고 있다
‘We have heard of Moab's pride--her overweening pride and conceit, her pride and her insolence--but her boasts are empty’
지나친 자부심,오만,자랑,무례...
그 누림의 모든 원인과 공(功)을 자신들에게 돌리는 사기죄(詐欺罪)를 서슴없이 저질렀던 모압이었다는 것이다

하여 하나님은 바벨론의 느브갓네살에 의해서 모압을 철저하게 응징
BC586 남유다에게 했던 것처럼 BC582 
하나님의 도통매(道通媒)가 된 바벨론은
무참(無慘)히 모압을 짖밟아 주었던 것

오늘따라 김석균 작사 「주님 것을 내 것이라고」 하는 가사가 생각난다
주님 것을 내 것이라고  고집하며 살아왔네
금은보화 자녀들까지 주님 것을 내 것이라
아버지여 철없는 종을 용서하여 주옵소서
맡긴 사명 맡긴 재물 주를 위해 쓰렵니다.

천한 이 몸 내 것이라고 주의 일을 멀리했네
주신이도 주님이시오 쓰신 이도 주님이라
아버지여 불충한 종을 용서하여 주옵소서
세상유혹 다 멀리하고 주의 일만 하렵니다.

주님 사랑 받기만 하고 감사할 줄 몰랐었네
주님 말씀 듣기만하고 실행하지 못했었네
아버지여 연약한 종을 용서하여 주옵소서
주님 명령 순종하면서 주를 위해 살렵니다
