My whole life I think I never had abdominal muscles and I was chubby in my younger age, to be clear I am not normally skinny and I have big bones. I can easily gain weight but difficult in losing it. For the past years since my late 20s to last year, I seldom exercise. I only do it when I know I would be traveling so I could have the endurance while walking in different countries because we mostly walk where we want to go, especially during food trips.
I lost weight when I started a low-carb diet plus intermittent fasting in late 2019 and saw fast weight loss but I keep bouncing back to where I started because it was just a diet. I can say I was and still skinny fat. I still wanted to be strong and toned rather than be skinny or frail. But I was just too lazy for my own good, too lazy to sweat and too lazy to move move move. Just walking was fine with me.
Last year I started exercising and continuously do it almost every day for more than 8 months already. I am addicted to exercising, I feel incomplete without my exercises for the day. I do not go to the gym though, it can be expensive, and it is far from our house so I do YouTube exercises targeting the core, arms, legs, back, cardio, Tabata, HIIT and anything else I could find - my go -to is AllBlanc. I know doing these home exercises can lead to slow results, but at least I try to be active, and I see results already. I even started exercising with a jump rope. My slow and steady exercises hopefully will make me better.
I am just so happy that in my 36 years of life, I finally have abdominal muscles, underneath my belly fat and love handles hahahahaha!!! Even if I still have the fat on top, when I tighten my core, I have that hard wall inside already. OMG I am so happy!!! I also have arm muscles now, still working on it. I also started doing back exercises for back fat. For the legs, since I have big legs already, I am not sure if I should exercise it lol because I am afraid it might get bigger hahaha!! I also have a wide back for a woman haha! I am a work in progress :)
But it's all thanks to you Bin, if not for you, being my inspiration to exercise, I would not have started. I would not have had the motivation to exercise every day (except 3 days during my period lol). If not for you, the dream of hoping to meet you in the future, I would still sit all day in front of my computer just working my ass off but being lazy in terms of being strong. I hope I will get the motivation (and money) to invest in a gym soon, so I know the proper ways to being toned instead of just home workouts. I still have a looooooooong way to go! But whole-heartedly, a big big big THANK YOU BIN, thank you! Can you be my trainer? lol!!!
P.S. You may think about my age, I am still not sure if I want any children because of all the cruel things in our world, so for now, I want to be strong, healthy and the money I make, I still want to enjoy . As we know, if you have babies, the money you make goes to them. For now, with the money I make, I want to travel, meet ASTRO, eat delicious food, street food without thinking about a new person yet. Is it selfish? I do not think so. I still help my parents and family financially, so I think it is my sort of self-care for now.
