☘️💚🍀성 패트릭의 날 또는 성 패트릭 축일(아일랜드어: Lá Fhéile Pádraig')은 아일랜드의 수호성인인 성 패트릭(385년경~461년경)의 전통적 사망일인 3월 17일에 기념하는 종교적, 문화적 축일이다. 성 패트릭의 날은 17세기 초에 공식적인 기독교 축제로 지정되었으며, 가톨릭교회, 성공회(특히 아일랜드 성공회), 동방 정교회, 루터교회에서 기념하고 있다. 이 날은 성 패트릭과 아일랜드에 기독교가 전파된 것을 기념하는 날이며, 나아가 아일랜드 사람들의 유산과 문화를 전반적으로 축하하는 날이다. 축제에는 일반적으로 대중 퍼레이드와 축제, 셀리트, 녹색 옷이나 샤름록 착용이 포함된다. 전례 교파에 속한 기독교인 역시 교회 예배에 참석한다. 역사적으로 사순절 기간 동안 금식과 음주 제한이 해제되었고, 이로 인해 이 축일의 전통인 흥겨운 잔치가 더욱 활성화되었다. 성 패트릭의 날은 아일랜드 공화국, 북아일랜드, 캐나다 뉴펀들랜드 래브라도주(지방정부 직원), 영국 해외 영토인 몬트세랫의 공휴일이다. 또한 영국, 캐나다, 미국, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 남아프리카공화국과 같이 아일랜드 이주민이 많은 지역에서도 널리 축하된다. 성 패트릭의 날은 다른 어떤 국가적 축제보다 많은 나라에서 기념됩니다. 현대의 축제는 아일랜드 이주민들의 축제, 특히 북미에서 발전한 축제의 영향을 크게 받았다. 그러나 성 패트릭의 날 축하행사가 지나치게 상업화되고 아일랜드 사람들에 대한 부정적인 고정관념을 조장한다는 비판이 제기되고 있다.
