천성경 (증) - 482. 주요 기념일

1 예수님은 가정을 찾다가 못 찾고 십자가에 돌아갔습니다. 예수님은 ‘나는 신랑이요 너희는 신부다.’라고 하면서 다시 찾아와야 할 가정의 이상을 남겨 놓고 십자가에 돌아갔습니다. 그렇기 때문에 그가 다시 회생할 재림의 날을 찾아 나온 것이 2천년 기독교의 수난길입니다. 예수님은 와서 예비된 신부를 찾아야 됩니다. 그래야 가정을 중심삼고 이루려는 세 가지의 사랑 목적을 결론지을 수 있습니다. 그 자리가 요한계시록에 예언된 어린양잔치입니다. 인간시조가 타락했기 때문에 인류는 거짓 부모, 거짓 조상을 모셨습니다. 하나님의 뜻에 일치된 참부모가 안 나타났습니다. 하나님은 알파요 오메가이기 때문에 첫 번에 구상했던 것을 끝에, 창세기에서 실패한 것을 요한계시록에서 갖다 맞추려는 것입니다.

2 1960년에 행했던 성혼식의 배후에는 아담 이후 예수님 때까지 4천년, 예수님으로부터 오늘에 이르기까지 2천년의 역사과정에서 걸렸던 모든 것을 탕감조건을 세워 해결하지 않으면 안 될 내용이 있었습니다. 그 행사는 세계적이고 천주적인 의미를 지니고 있음에도 불구하고, 현실적으로는 소수의 사람들에 의해서 이루어진 것이고, 그에 대한 박해는 상상할 수 없을 정도로 컸습니다. 그것을 준비하기 위한 1953년부터 1960년까지의 기간은 박해의 시기였습니다. 그 기간에 적어도 360만 이상의 사람과 3개 이상의 교파, 국가로부터 박해를 받았습니다. 그런 가운데 탕감조건을 승리권 내에 세운 것이 성혼식이었습니다. 그날이 통일교회의 운명을 결정한 최초의 날입니다.

3 통일교회 무리들을 모아서 1960년에 전국에 못해도 120개 이상의 교회 기반을 닦았습니다. 그것은 세계 120개 국가를 대표합니다. 그 기반을 닦은 후에 거기에서 아무리 국가적 시험을 당하더라도 쓰러지지 않고 망하지 않을 기반을 닦아 나온 것입니다. 그러한 기반 밑에서 1960년에 새로운 성혼식을 한 것입니다. 그래서 하나의 통일종족을 편성한 그 기반을 중심삼고 민족적 사명을 완수해서 이런 축복의 날을 세웠다는 것입니다. 그것은 역사적 기점입니다.

4 성혼식은 일개인의 것이 아닙니다. 세계사적인 것입니다. 이러한 세계사적인 하나님의 섭리를 대해 이러한 심정적 기원을 총합한 자리에서 누구보다 사랑하는 하나의 가정적 기원을 선포한다고 할 때, 그 가정적 기원을 중심삼고 천륜은, 천지의 운세는 움직이지 않을 수 없는 것입니다.

5 통일교회가 1960년에 가정이라는 기반을 가졌기 때문에 망하지 않습니다. 가정 기반을 못 가졌으면 망하게 됩니다. 1960년의 이 성혼식이 얼마나 역사적인 사건이었던가! 지금까지 6천년 섭리역사시대에 아담 하나 찾기 위해서 수고하던 그 기반 위에 아담이 지상에 기준을 닦아 해와를 완성한 해와로서 맞아들일 수 있다는 것은 영계와 육계로 갈라졌던 것이 비로소 지상세계에 연결된다는 것입니다. 남자는 하늘 대신이요 여자는 땅 대신입니다. 갈라졌던 영계와 육계가 연결됩니다. 아담과 해와가 원수였던 그 담이 무너지는 것입니다. 아담 해와와 하나님이 만날 수 없던 이 담이 무너지는 것입니다. 사탄이 빠져나간다는 것입니다.

6 어머니가 되기 위해서는 3대가 혼자 살아야 합니다. 어머니는 어릴 때에도 누구의 후원도 받지 않고 혼자 자란 외동딸이었습니다. 그런 외동딸을 만든 것은 사탄의 핏줄을 남기지 않기 위해서입니다. 그리고 어머니의 어머니도 외동딸이고, 그 어머니도 외동딸입니다. 3대가 끌려들어 가는 것입니다. 그래서 어머니는 3대 수난을 받았습니다. 할머니와 어머니는 신앙에 취해서 돌아다녔으니 기저귀인들 잘 채워 주고 밥인들 잘 먹여 주었겠습니까? 인간세계의 정을 모르고 천정의 도리를 이어 주기 위해서 일편단심, 신골(身骨)이 녹아나는 것도 개의치 않고 하나님 앞에 절대복종하고 절대순종하는 길을 간 것입니다.

7 뜻이 없었으면 선생님이 어머니와 만날 수가 없습니다. 뜻이 그렇기 때문에 만났습니다. 어머니가 될 사람은 20대가 넘으면 안 됩니다. 원래는 18세가 넘으면 안 됩니다. 18세를 하루라도 거치면 안 됩니다. 해와가 16세에 타락했기 때문에 3년을 거쳐 19세까지 연결되는 것입니다.

8 어머니 자신은 사랑을 중심삼고 양같이 순종해야 됩니다. 모든 면에 절대 순종할 수 있는 조건을 찾아야 됩니다. 그래서 전적으로 남편을 위해서 희생해야 됩니다. 남편을 사랑하는 데 있어서 절대적이어야 됩니다. ‘우리 아버지만도 못하다. 우리 오빠만도 못하다.’라고 비교의 기준을 두면 안 됩니다. 왜 그러냐? 에덴동산에서 해와는 남자라는 것을 보지 못했습니다. 남자에 대해서 딴 생각을 할 여지가 없었습니다.

9 어머니를 택하는 데 있어서는 모든 조건이 맞아야 했습니다. 앞뒤로 맞아야 되고, 좌우로 맞아야 되고, 상하로 맞아야 됩니다. 제1의 조건이 뭐냐 하면, 어떠한 핏줄을 타고났느냐 하는 것입니다. 사탄세계에서 참소받을 수 있는 핏줄의 인연을 가지고 태어났느냐, 아니면 그것을 넘어설 수 있는 핏줄의 내연을 가지고 태어났느냐가 중요합니다.

10 어머니를 볼 때 아주 단정합니다. 어머니가 얌전하게 가만히 있을 땐 누구 못지않게 존경할 수 있는 내적 성품을 지니고 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 서양 사람들도 동양의 여성미가 저렇다고 하면 나도 동양 여자하고 결혼하고 싶다고 할 수 있게 교육을 시키는 것입니다. 서양 남자들 중에는 동양 여자들은 어머니 같을 것이기 때문에 결혼 대상을 동양 여자로 결정했다고 하는 사람이 많았습니다. 그런 면에서 동양 여성상을 세계 식구들에게 가르쳐 주는 데에 위대한 공적을 낸 어머니라고 생각할 수 있습니다. 그런 의미에서 어머니로서 자격이 충분하다는 것입니다.

11 해방 직후 7년 7년 해서 만 14년을 지내고서 성혼식을 한 것입니다. 소생 구약시대, 장성 신약시대의 기준을 넘어서, 아담 해와가 장성기 완성급에서 결혼하게 돼 있었으니 소생·장성의 각 7년 기간을 넘어가서 완성기 소생급을 연결시킬 수 있는 자리에 나가야 됩니다. 국가 기준을 넘어야 됩니다.

1 イエス様は家庭を探しましたが、探し出せずに十字架で亡くなりました。イエス様は「私は新郎であり、あなたたちは新婦だ」という立場で語られながら、 再び訪ねてこなければならない家庭理想を残し、十字架で亡くなりました。そのため、その方が再びよみがえる再臨の日を求めてきたのが、二千年のキリスト教 の受難の道です。

イエス様は、準備された新婦を探し出さなければなりません。それでこそ、家庭を中心として成し遂げようとする三つの愛の目的を結論づけることができるので す。その場がヨハネの黙示録に預言された小羊の婚宴です。人間始祖が堕落したので、人類は、偽りの父母、偽りの先祖に侍りました。神様のみ旨に一致した真 の父母が現れなかったのです。神様は、アルファであり、オメガなので、最初に構想したことを最後に、創世記で失敗したことをヨハネの黙示録で合わせようと するのです。

2　一九六〇年に行われた先生の聖婚式の背後には、アダム以降、イエス様のときまで四千年、イエス様から今日に至るまで二千年の歴史過程で引っ掛かったす べてのものを、蕩減条件を立てて解決しなければならない内容がありました。その行事は、世界的で天宙的な意味をもっているにもかかわらず、現実的には少数 の人々によって行われたのであり、それに対する迫害は想像できないほど大きかったのです。それを準備するための一九五三年から一九六〇年までの期間は、迫 害の時期でした。

3　統一教会の群れを集めて、一九六〇年には、全国に少なくても百二十ヵ所以上の教会の基盤を築きました。それは、世界百二十カ国を代表しています。その 基盤を築いたのち、そこにおいて、いくら国家的な試練を受けても倒れず、滅びない基盤を築いてきたのです。そのような基盤のもとで、一九六〇年に新しい聖 婚式をしました。そうして、一つの統一氏族を編成したその基盤を中心として、民族的使命を完遂し、このような祝福の日を立てたのです。それは歴史的起点で す。

4　聖婚式は、一個人のものではありません。世界史的なものです。このような世界史的な神様の摂理に対して、このような心情的起源を総合した場で、誰より も愛する一つの家庭的起源を宣布するというとき、その家庭的起源を中心として、天倫と天地の運勢は動かざるを得ないのです。

5　統一教会は、一九六〇年に家庭という基盤をもったので、滅びません。家庭基盤をもてなければ滅びるのです。一九六〇年の先生の聖婚式が、どれほど歴史 的な事件だったでしょうか！今まで六千年の摂理歴史時代において、アダム一人を探し出すために苦労されたその基盤の上に、アダムが地上に基準を築き、エバ を完成したエバとして迎え入れられるということは、霊界と肉界に分かれたものが、初めて地上世界で連結されるということです。男性は天の代身であり、女性 は地の代身です。分かれた霊界と肉界が連結されるのです。アダムとエバが怨讐だったその塀が崩れるのです。アダムとエバと神様が出会えなかったこの塀が崩 れるのです。サタンが抜け出していくというのです。

6　お母様になるためには、三代が一人で暮らさなければなりません。お母様は、幼いときも誰の援助も受けずに独り育った一人娘でした。そのような一人娘に したのは、サタンの血統を残さないためです。そして、お母様の母親も一人娘であり、その母親も一人娘です。三代が巻き込まれていくのです。それで、お母様 は三大受難を受けました。祖母と母親は信仰に夢中になって歩き回ったので、おむつをきちんと替えてあげ、御飯をしっかり食べさせてくれたでしょうか。人間 世界の情を知らず、天上の道理を受け継がせるために、一片丹心、身と骨が溶けるのも意に介さず、神様のみ前に絶対服従し、絶対従順する道を歩んだのです。

7　み旨がなければ、先生は、お母様と出会うことはできません。み旨がそのようになっているので、出会ったのです。お母様になる人は、二十代を超えてはい けません。本来は十八歳を超えてはいけないのです。十八歳を一日でも過ぎてはいけません。エバが十六歳で堕落したので、三年を経て、十九歳まで連結される のです。

8　お母様自身が、愛を中心として羊のように従順でなければなりません。すべての面で絶対従順できる条件を探さなければなりません。そうして、全面的に夫 のために犠牲にならなければなりません。夫を愛するとき、絶対的でなければなりません。「私の父にも劣る。私のお兄さんにも劣る」という比較の基準を置い てはいけません。なぜでしょうか。
エデンの園で、エバは男性というものを目にすることができませんでした。男性に対して他の考えをもつ余地がなかったのです。

9　お母様を選ぶときには、すべての条件が合わなければなりません。前後に合わなければならず、左右に合わなければならず、上下に合わなければなりませ ん。第一の条件とは何かといえば、どのような血統をもって生まれたかということです。サタン世界において讒訴を受ける血統の因縁をもって生まれたのか、そ れともそれを越える血統の内容をもって生まれたのかが重要です。

10　お母様を見れば、非常に端正です。お母様が慎ましくじっとしているときは、誰にも負けない、尊敬する内的な性稟をもっているのです。そのため、西洋 人も、「東洋の女性美があのようなものであるなら、自分も東洋の女性と結婚したい」と言えるように教育させるのです。西洋の男性の中には、「東洋の女性は お母様のような人だろうから、結婚の対象を東洋の女性に決めた」という人がたくさんいるのです。そのような面で、東洋の女性像を世界の食口に教えてあげる ことに、偉大な功績を積んだお母様であると考えられます。そのような意味で、お母様としての資格は十分だというのです。

11　解放直後の七年と七年で、満十四年を過ごしてから聖婚式をしたのです。蘇生旧約時代、長成新約時代の基準を越えて、アダムとエバが長成期完成級で結 婚するようになっていたので、蘇生、長成の各七年期間を越えていき、連結できる位置に進まなければなりません。完成期蘇生級を国家基準を越えなければなら ないのです。

1 Jesus sought to form his family, but he died on the cross before he could establish it. Before he was crucified, Jesus referred to himself as the bridegroom, which implies the existence of a bride. On the cross he bequeathed the unfulfilled family ideal, to be recovered later. This is the reason, although they went on paths of suffering, Christians for the past two thousand years have been waiting for him to come back to life on the day of his Second Coming. Jesus certainly must come and find the bride who is prepared for him. Only then can the three purposes of love that he sought to establish in the family be brought to completion. The occasion for this is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb prophesied in the Book of Revelation. Because the first ancestors fell, True Parents who are in accord with God’s Will did not emerge, and humankind has been attending false parents, the false ancestors. Still, God, being the Alpha and the Omega, has been trying to realize in the end what He had envisioned at the beginning. He will fulfill what went wrong in the Book of Genesis by what is prophesied in the Book of Revelation. (53-062, 1972.03.04)


True Parents' Holy Wedding
2 Our Holy Wedding that was held in 1960 was vital to indemnifying and resolving all the issues that had impeded the four thousand-year course of history from Adam to Jesus and the two thousand-year course of history from Jesus to the present day. Despite the global and cosmic significance of that ceremony, in reality it was held in the presence of a small number of people and amid persecution that was beyond imagination. The period from 1953 to 1960, when I was preparing for this ceremony, was a time of enormous persecution as well. During those days, we received persecution from at least 3.6 million people, from three denominations and three nations. Our Holy Wedding Ceremony was the victory attained by going through all this and setting up indemnity conditions. That day was the day that decided the destiny of the Unification Church. 3 By 1960, the Unification Church members had pooled their resources and laid a foundation, building more than 120 churches throughout the nation. Even with that in place, we continued building our foundation to assure that we would not collapse or perish, even if challenged by a national- level test. On that foundation, in 1960, I conducted our Holy Wedding. This was a new level, and it could be accomplished only because we were fulfilling the mission of serving the Korean people and establishing the Unification congregation, the tribal level. That was a historic beginning point. (074-100, 1974.11.14)

4 The impact of the Holy Wedding was not limited to a single individual; it affected the direction of world history. It proclaimed the beginning of the first family, a family that God could love more than He had ever loved anyone or any family, and for the sake of which He had invested all of His heart in the global providence throughout history. Thus, based on this family beginning, the heavenly norms and the fortunes of heaven and earth would inevitably have to move. (83-341, 1976.02.15)

5 The Unification Church established its family-level foundation in 1960. With this in place, it will not perish. Had we failed to establish that foundation, the church would have perished. What a historic event our Holy Wedding in 1960 was! It came on the foundation of Heaven’s effort, through the course of the six thousand years of providential history, to find the one Adam. On that day, this Adam reached the standard on earth to receive the perfected Eve. This meant that the spirit world and physical world, which had been divided, could finally be joined on earth. Man represents heaven and woman represents earth. By their joining, the divided spirit world and physical world were joined. The wall that separated Adam and Eve and made them enemies to each other was broken down. The wall that had prevented Adam and Eve from meeting God collapsed. Satan had to slink away. 6 The one who was to become the True Mother had to be from a family with three generations of only daughters. From her youth, Mother grew up as an only daughter, alone and without getting any help from others. The reason God made her an only daughter was to prevent Satan’s lineage from remaining. Mother’s mother was also an only daughter, and her mother too was an only daughter. Three generations were involved, and Mother had to go through trials spanning these three generations. When she was a child, her grandmother and mother were seekers, intoxicated by their life of faith. Do you think they changed Mother’s diapers on time or fed her well? Their only thought was to follow a path of absolute obedience and absolute submission to God with single-minded devotion. They were even oblivious to taking care of their health as they followed the way of Heaven’s heart. They were indifferent to practical considerations associated with the human world. 7 Were it not for God’s Will, I could not have met Mother. We met each other because of the Will. The person who would be True Mother was not to be beyond her twenties. In truth, she was not to be even a day older than eighteen. Eve fell when she was sixteen. Hence, she had to be within three years of that age, not yet nineteen. (231-024, 1992.05.31)

8 Mother’s love had to be as pure as that of a lamb. In all respects she had to meet necessary conditions of absolute obedience. For this, she had to completely sacrifice herself for her husband. In loving her husband she had to be absolute. She was not supposed to compare him with anyone, thinking or saying, “He is not as good as my father,” or, “He is not as good as my older brother.” Why is that? In the Garden of Eden, Eve had never seen any man other than Adam. She had no capacity to conceive thoughts about other men. (97-296, 1978.03.26)

9 All the conditions had to be met before choosing Mother. She had to fit in each direction, front and back, left and right, above and below. The first condition concerned the lineage of which she was born. It was important to discern whether she was born linked to a lineage vulnerable to accusation from Satan’s world, or born of a lineage with hidden links by which she could overcome such accusations. 10 Mother has poise. She may remain silent and still demonstrate inner qualities that make her highly regarded even among the most distinguished women. Through her, I am educating western people to think, “If this is feminine beauty in the East, I want to marry such a woman.” I know many western men who decided to marry a woman from the East because they assumed that they all are like Mother. In that light, I believe Mother has made a great contribution by presenting the best image of womanhood to our church members throughout the world. On that basis alone, I would say that she has sufficient qualification to be Mother. (170-037, 1987.11.01)

11 The Holy Wedding was held fourteen years after the liberation of Korea— seven years plus another seven years. Adam and Eve were to be married at the completion level of the growth stage, which is beyond the standards of the formation-stage Old Testament Age and the growth-stage New Testament Age. That is why I had to pass through a seven-year period for each of those stages, in order to advance to a position where I had attained the completion level of the growth stage. This means I had to go beyond the level of a nation. (212-080, 1991.01.02)
