John 17 Commentary (8)
The seventh prayer of our Lord, the High Priest, is love.
"Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am: that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
O righteous Father, the world has not know you; but I have known you, and these have known that you has sent me.
And I have declared unto them your name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them." (John 17:24-26)
Love is what makes us into the attribution of heaven.
If you are not a person of love, you will live a very boring life in this world, even if you believe in the Lord.
As a poet said, "I am happy because I love," the attribution which love another is happiness itself, rather than being loved.
However, it is the Lord, not we, who makes us with the constitution of love.
That is why we praise, "For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever."
Only God can make us into loving beings through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through this, God receives glory.
The Lord said, “Where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3).
It is frustrating to say that the Lord is making a place for us to live forever in heaven.
If we do not believe that Christ has already become our personal tabernacle and that it is a great tabernacle that covers his entire body, we will spend all night talking about ‘where is the tabernacle of the testimony being built’, ‘where is the refuge’, and ‘we will reign and live on this earth for a thousand years’.
The new covenant is given to us as a commandment (John 14:21) that we are in Christ and Christ lives in us because the Spirit of truth dwells in us.
In these last days, the Spirit of truth has come within us, we are in Christ, Christ in us, and if we keep the commandments with love that Christ has given us, God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will make their home in us and be with us. (John 14:21, 23)
We become a house of love, and if the Father of love and the Son of love dwell in us, we become people of love.
God wants all His saints in Christ to see the glory that the Father gave to Christ before the foundation of the world, because we become one with Him in Jesus Christ.
He is still praying that the glory of Jesus Christ will be shown to his disciples who love him, keep his commandments, and have fellowship with him through the Word.
It is truly an amazing blessing.
The Lord is still praying at the right hand of the throne, hoping that the Word within us will continue to develop and that our constitution will become heavenly. (Hebrews 7:25)
The Lord has made known and will make known the Father's name yesterday, today, and forever.
This is saying that the revelation of Christ will continue to progress.
I also experience tremendous progress while I am teaching the Gospel of John.
The fact that God has given us his word with the same love He has for his Son Jesus Christ is the most precious of all blessings.
Until that moment, the Word of God, which was only in Jesus, Christ in Jesus, and after the Lord died on the cross, rose again, ascended to heaven, and sat on the throne, the Word of God, because God sent the Spirit of truth in us, come into us through the love of God.
It is the blessing of Emmanuel.
A certain pastor is fearlessly insisting that Calvin's predestination is unbiblical.
If he were near me, I would want to give him a slap.
“You are unspiritual,” saying.
The knowledge of the Bible without the Spirit of truth says that predestination before the creation of the world is unbiblical.
An old man shouts, "If you don't know the truth, you should come here and learn it. Why are you calling it a heresy?"
If I were near that person, I would ask him, "What is the truth?"
Can someone who doesn't know Christ know the truth?
Without the Holy Spirit, can they know the truth?
That's why he's excitedly saying, We're building a tabernacle on this earth, We're creating the 12 tribes.
If that person died right now, he would go to the lake of fire.
The words, “so that the love you have for me may be in them” are the contents of 1 John.
When you cross the river in Hebrews and conquer, the words from James become embodied and become action.
In 1 John, among the five blessings of fruitfulness, multiplication, fullness, conquest, and dominion, the blessing of conquest is completed.
When you conquer in this way through love, you finally become a king in the Book of Revelation.
There is no door that can be inserted directly into the Book of Revelation.
Starting from the four gospels, especially the Gospel of John, through the church epistles, and through the Book of Hebrews, those who have the Father’s love fulfilled in John’s epistles are the ones who have overcome, and they are found in Revelation 7, 14, and 21.
The Lord’s utmost love for us is “so that I myself may be in them.”
As the Son of God, His desire to dwell in us with all glory and power is the true love of agape.
That is why the Spirit of truth is emphasized.
If we review the Lord's prayer once again, he makes us holy with truth, lets us see His glory with that holiness, and when that glory makes us one with God the Father and that oneness becomes complete, we finally become the constitution of love.
While I was lecturing on the Gospel of John again, the belief that "I was born again, I became a new creation, and I am moving toward the throne with the Spirit of truth" is for those who have grown up from beginners, but for me, the word that I should obey and achieve salvation with a fearful and trembling heart from the moment I see that glory pierces my heart.
I feel like a freshman in heaven who is determined to achieve true salvation.
When I first received grace, I considered the words, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 2:5), as a golden rule, but even after decades, I am still the same.
However, now I am receiving again the Lord’s command to show me his glory and to follow him by beating myself and submitting myself to his way.
That is, those who are called, chosen, and faithful are caught by the Lord, the Lamb, and follow him, so they win. (Rev. 17:4)
It is not human wins, but those who wins by dying with Christ, living again, seeing the glory of God in the Spirit of truth, becoming one with the Lord, becoming one with the Father through the Lord, obeying and following the commandments of becoming one.
Heaven is the kingdom of the children of God, who is love. If you can love, isn’t that winning?
And after the Lord's Prayer in John 17, "When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley" in John 18:1, so Jesus' public ministry ended with this.
In the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord's Prayer, which was the first sermon, and in the Upper Room Discourse, which was the last sermon, God sent the Spirit of Truth, who is the subject who realizes the ultimate ethics of heaven, which are love of God and love of neighbor. When the Spirit of Truth comes in us, flesh humans are spiritual and enter into a relationship with the Father in Christ, and in Him, through the labor of childbirth, we become holiness and glory, perfection, and love through truth.
This is the Lord's desire for us, who called us into him, and the content of the Holy Spirit's sighing prayer.
Jesus, who came in the flesh, only performed the ministry of a prophet and a priest.
However, the ministry of a king has been carried out since he came as the Holy Spirit of truth and entered into us.
Therefore, He makes those who are one with Christ in the Holy Spirit a nation and priests, and He says that when they receive the word and are embodied in them, they are priests like kings. (1 Peter 2:9)
Therefore, we always confidently pray, “Your kingdom come.”
Whether in heaven or on earth, heaven is a place filled with love, but they say that if we buy heaven on credit and pay off the installment properly, we will go to heaven and love and praise.
It is false, deceptive, and illegal.
Even now, the Lord is praying the Lord’s prayer in John 17.
Therefore, we must continue to pray the Lord’s Prayer which is our prayer that the Lord taught us., which is the same content as the Lord’s prayer in John 17.
When the Lord’s Prayer and my prayer are united in the Holy Spirit, we will finally become love and make known to the world the achievements of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I will only give lectures up to John 17.
Since it is historical fact from Chapter 18, you can read it as is.
