천성경 (증) - 514. 신인애일체와 모심의 삶

1 선생님이 제일 고심한 것은 신인일체를 어떻게 형성하느냐 하는 문제입니다. 이론적으로 어떻게 설명하느냐는 것입니다. 이것이 해명되지 않고서는 이론적 체제가 정착되지 않는 것입니다. 인간 사랑의 근본인 자리가 설정되지 않으면 모든 것이 틀려지는 것입니다.

2 선생님이 근본 문제를 추구할 때 신인일체권은 도대체 어디인지를 쭉 생각했습니다. 이것은 중대한 문제입니다. 이것을 해결하지 않고서는 출발점과 종결점이 맞지 않습니다. 그런 가운데 번개처럼 번쩍 하는 깨달음이 있었습니다. 참사랑은 직단거리를 통한다는 것입니다. 그 한마디가 모든 것을 해결했습니다. 하늘땅이 참사랑으로 연결된다면 직단거리를 통한다는 것입니다. 다시 말하면 수직은 하나입니다. 수평에 대해서 90각도 외에는 없습니다. 이것은 최고의 직단거리입니다.

3 결혼은 사랑을 완성하기 위해서 하는 것입니다. 횡적으로 좌우, 동쪽과 서쪽을 남자와 여자라 하면, 그 남자와 여자의 참이상은 직단거리를 통하는 것이기 때문에, 수평면에 대하여 횡적인 사랑의 직단거리는 중앙의 한 점밖에 없습니다. 이것은 90각도 이외에는 없습니다. 이것이 옆으로 되면 타원형이 되기 때문에 안 됩니다. 모두 같지 않습니다. 평등한 위치에 모두가 같은 기준으로 서는 것은 90각도 외에는 없습니다. 신인일체로 하는 사랑의 결집 장소라는 것은 90각도 외에는 없습니다.

4 하나님의 사랑과 인간의 사랑이 문제가 됩니다. 하나님의 사랑과 인간의 사랑이 색이 같은가 다른가 하는 것이 커다란 문제입니다. 하나님의 사랑과 인간의 사랑이 어디에서 결착되느냐? 이것이 결착하지 않으면, 신인애일체의 거점을 보지 않으면 하나님도 인간도 같이 정착할 수 없습니다. 하나님이 기뻐하는데 인간도 사랑을 통하여 기뻐하는 장이 틀린 경우에는 큰일 난다는 것입니다.

5 새 시대 21세기는 공의의 시대입니다. 새 시대 21세기는 물질이 판을 치지 않는 정신과 영(靈)의 시대라는 것입니다. 새 시대 21세기는 신인일체가 되어서 사는 시대입니다. 새 시대 21세기는 남을 위하여 사는 것이 나를 위하여 사는 것보다 더 영원한 가치가 있음을 깨닫고 사는 시대입니다. 자기주의는 퇴색하고, 공생·공영·공의의 이타주의가 드디어 개가를 올리는 시대, 그것이 바로 밝아 오는 21세기입니다.

6 인류는 하나님을 찾아야 됩니다. 무형의 참부모를 알지 못하는 무지로부터 벗어나야 합니다. 전지전능성의 시현으로 이룩된 우주의 무궁하고 오묘한 질서 속에 살면서도 창조주의 위업에 감사할 줄 모르는 패역을 더 이상 반복해서는 안 됩니다. 타락한 인간은 자기 생명의 주인이 자기라는 오만에서 벗어나 하나님의 참사랑의 절대 성(性) 앞에 자각된 영성을 키워야 할 것입니다.

7 하나님은 참부모이십니다. 영원무궁토록 참사랑을 더 크게 투입하시려는 심정을 절대적인 것으로 굳히고 사시는 하나님을 발견해야 됩니다. 당신의 절대·유일·불변·영원한 참사랑·참생명·참혈통을 온전히 상속해 줄 대상으로 인류를 지으신 하나님의 정을 알아야 합니다. 그리하여 절대 참부모·참스승·참주인이신 하나님과 참부모를 우리 개인·가정·종족·민족·국가·세계·천주의 절대가치의 축으로 세워야 합니다. 개인적인 생활에서부터 가정·국가·세계적인 삶의 근본이 돼야 합니다. 혁명을 해야 됩니다. 참사랑의 위하여 사는 길인 천지부모의 전통적인 길을 천년만년 불변으로 따라가고 싶어해야 됩니다. 그렇게 한다면 가정문제, 사회문제, 인종문제, 종교 간의 갈등문제 등 풀리지 않는 문제가 있을 수 없습니다.

8 창조이상세계인 신인일체 심정세계가 되어 사는 시대가 와야 합니다. 남을 위해 사는 것이 나를 위해 사는 것보다 더 영원한 가치가 있음을 깨닫고 사는 시대, 자기중심의 이기주의 시대가 퇴색하고 공생·공영·공의의 이타주의 세계를 창건해야 됩니다. 우리 모두 그 목적을 위하여 하나님과 영계를 바로 알고, 나아가 온 세상에 천도를 증거하면서 인류를 바르게 지도하여 하나님의 참사랑과 참생명 그리고 참혈통에 연결된 천주대가족을 형성하여 하나님의 조국과 고향을 지상과 천상에 창건해야 됩니다.

9 하나님이 창조하던 당시에 이상하셨던 신인애일체의 가정이 이루어졌다면, 우리는 천국으로 다 들어가게 되었을 것입니다. 그러니까 문제가 되는 것은, 하나님과 인간의 참사랑이 주체와 상대의 참사랑으로 하나되지 않으면 하나님과 인간의 참사랑이 서로 달라지기 때문에 두 방향과 목적지가 설정된다는 것입니다. 그렇게 될 때는 하나님과 인간이 바라는 절대적인 이상세계는 찾아질 수 없습니다. 그 두 참사랑이 한 점에서 출발하기를 바랐던 하나님의 뜻은 타락으로 완전히 정지되어 버렸습니다. 사탄의 사랑을 중심삼고 거짓 부모가 생겼고, 인류는 거짓 사랑과 거짓 생명, 그리고 거짓 혈통을 이어받은 후손들이기 때문에 모두 지옥으로 가는 것입니다. 천국과 관계가 없습니다. 지금까지 육신을 제거시켜 마음이 마음대로 할 수 있는 사람을 중심삼고 하나님의 참사랑을 점령해야 한다는 사실을 몰랐습니다.

10 신인애일체, 이 일체는 어디서 이루어지는 것입니까? 하나님의 사랑과 인간의 사랑이 어디서 합하느냐 하는 논리를 지금까지 누구도 몰랐습니다. 이것을 몰라 가지고는 하나님 아버지라는 말은 허황된 것입니다. 상관없는 말입니다. 아담과 해와의 실체 결혼식은 하나님의 결혼식입니다. 영계에 가 보면 그것을 확실히 알 수 있습니다. 알 수 없는 이론이 다 들어맞는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 여러분이 하나님의 사랑을 점령해야 그 욕심이 꽉 차 가지고 ‘이젠 됐다.’라고 하는 것입니다. 작용은 주체와 대상이 있어야 됩니다. 인간의 욕망이 작용하려면, 내가 상대라면 주체가 있어야 한다는 것입니다. 그 주체가 하나님의 사랑입니다. 신인애일체권의 특권적인 기준을 부여했기 때문에 그것을 성사할 때까지 욕망은 언제나 활동합니다. 그것을 점령하면 꽉 차는 것입니다.

11 신앙생활에 있어서 ‘하나님!’이라고 외치는 것은 하나님의 신뢰를 받기 위해서입니다. 신뢰를 받으면 결국 하나님의 사랑 일체권을 찾아가게 됩니다. 그럼으로 말미암아 인간의 사랑과 하나님의 사랑이 하나된다는 것입니다.

12 통일교회는 안식일 대신 시의(侍義), 모심으로 구원을 얻는 시대로 들어갑니다. 모시는 데는 그냥 모시는 것이 아닙니다. 영원한 안착의 하나님이 임재해서 가정에 들어와서 안착한 자리에서 모심으로써 하나님과 같이 생활할 수 있는 해방권이 아니라 석방권이 이루어집니다. 지금까지 일주일을 중심삼고 성일로 했지만, 이 10수권 내에 제일 중요한 날이 8일입니다. 8일이 재출발의 날입니다. 8일이 제일 중요한 날이기 때문에 안착시의의 날입니다. 비로소 ‘안시일(安侍日)’이 자리 잡아 하나님을 모심으로써 구원을 얻는 것입니다.

13 시의시대란 무엇이냐? 하나님을 모시고 사는 시대입니다. 성경에서 말하는 첫째 계명도 하나님을 사랑하라는 말씀이지 않습니까? 그런데 후천시대에는 하나님 자신이 참부모의 모습으로 만인 앞에 현현하십니다. 따라서 참부모를 모시는 통일교회의 위상은 세상의 그 어떤 힘이나 세력과 비교할 수 없는 하늘의 권세로 나타나게 됩니다.

14 오늘날 타락한 인간에게 부모는 있으되 그 부모는 참부모가 아닙니다. 그 부모는 하나님 앞에 인정받은 부모가 아닙니다. 그러면 끝날 우리가 해야 될 것이 무엇입니까? 우리가 살아 있는 이때에 우주적인 부모를 모시고, 교단적인 부모를 모시고, 가정적인 부모까지 모셔야 됩니다. 즉 3대 부모를 모셔야 됩니다. 가정은 백성을 대표할 수 있고, 교단은 자녀를 대신할 수 있고, 우주적인 부모는 참부모를 대신할 수 있는 형입니다. 오늘날 땅 위에 인간이 살고 있으나 하나님이 허락한 참다운 부모의 사랑권을 벗어나고 있습니다. 부모와 피와 살이 상통하는 인연이 나면서부터 영원한 세계까지 연결되지 않은 것이 서러운 일입니다. 그렇기 때문에 가정적인 부모로부터 교단적인 부모와 우주적인 부모와 하나님의 사랑이 엉켜야만 비로소 6천년 전체의 사랑권에 들어가 하나님 앞에 얼굴을 들고 설 수 있는 것입니다. 이것이 우리 인간이 필히 가야 할 노정입니다.

15 에덴동산에서 아담 해와는 마음대로 타락했고, 그 타락권 내에서 살았기 때문에 직접적인 모심의 생활을 못해 봤습니다. 이런 모심의 생활을 하지 못한 인간은 천상의 천국에 들어갈 자격이 없습니다. 그러나 여러분은 타락의 혈통을 받아 생활했지만 복귀의 한 노정을 탕감해 놓고 지상에서 실체를 쓰고 아담 해와가 모시지 못한 참부모를 모시고, 하나님을 모시고 살다 갔다는 조건으로 인해 천국에 들어갈 수 있는 자격을 얻는다는 것입니다. 그래야 천국 시민권을 얻게 됩니다.

16 하나님을 우주의 부모로 모시면 하나님의 사랑이 이 지상에 군림한다는 것입니다. 그렇게 되는 날에는 하나님의 사랑을 받고 형제를 사랑하게 되어 싸움을 하라고 해도 하지 않게 됩니다. 에덴동산에서 타락한 것이 얼마나 지긋지긋합니까? 에덴동산에서 싸워 지금까지 피 흘린 노정이 얼마나 지긋지긋합니까? 개인이 천국 가려면 혼자서는 갈 수 없습니다. 둘이 합해, 형님과 동생이 하나되어 부모를 모시고 가야 합니다.

17 ‘천일국 평화통일평정’을 선포합니다. 천일국 평화통일평정, 어디나 같다는 것입니다. 어디나 같지 않은 것이 없다는 말입니다. ‘평정세계시대를 발표한다.’라고 하는 것입니다. ‘천일국 평화통일평정시대 도래 발표 선언’, 이 말은 하늘나라나 지상이 같다는 것입니다. 평정입니다. 조상을 부르면, 후손들이 진정한 천일국평화통일의 축복받은 가정이니만큼 조상들이 답변해 주어야 됩니다. 그러니 영계가 지상에 자유자재로 재림할 수 있고, 지상 사람의 소원이 자유자재로 선조와 하나님 앞에 상달될 수 있는 시대를 말합니다. 그래서 평정시대 도래 발표를 선언합니다.

18 우리의 소원은 하나님과 같은 자리에 서는 것입니다. 동위권입니다. 동거권은 같이 사는 것입니다. 그다음에 동참권입니다. 동행권이나 동참권이나 마찬가지입니다. 같이 참석하고 같이 행동해야 됩니다. 그다음에는 동애권, 같이 사랑의 목적을 위해서 사는 것입니다. 그래서 예수님도 ‘나는 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지의 나라에 갈 수 없다.’라고 한 것입니다. ‘나는 진리요 생명이요 말씀이라!’라고 했지만 사랑이라는 말이 빠졌습니다. 천일국은 사랑을 중심삼고 나가는 것입니다. 그래서 여러분의 소원이 부모님과 같은 자리에 머무르고 싶은 것입니다. 부모님과 같이 살고 싶다, 부모님과 모든 일에 동참해 행하고 싶다는 것입니다. 영원히 같이 사랑을 중심삼고 행복하게 자유스럽게 해방된 자리에서 살라는 것입니다. 그런 의미에서 천일국 평화통일평정시대가 왔다는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 여러분이 움직이는 데는 혼자 움직이는 것이 아니라 여러분의 나라가 따라다니는 것입니다. 영계 전체가, 하늘나라 전체가 따라다니고, 지상세계와 만민이 옹위하는 가운데 주인의 자격으로 살고 있다는 것입니다. 그래서 하나님의 사랑의 전통을 내 일족을 통해서, 일국의 전통의 뼈와 같은 사상을 내가 시봉(侍奉)해야 할 주인이 되어야 합니다.

天聖経 (增) - 514. 神人愛一体と侍る人生

1　先生が最も苦心したことは、神人一体をどのように形成するかという問題です。理論的にどのように説明するかというのです。これが解明されなければ、理 論的体制が定着しないのです。人間愛の根本的な位置が設定されなければ、すべてのものがずれていくのです。

2　先生が根本問題を追求するとき、神人一体圏はいったいどこなのかを考え続けました。これは、重大な問題です。これを解決しなければ、出発点と終結点が 合わないのです。そのような中で、稲妻のようにひらめく悟りがありました。「真の愛は直短距離を通る」というのです。その一言がすべてを解決しました。天 地が真の愛で連結されるならば、直短距離を通るのです。言い換えれば、垂直は一つです。水平に対して九〇度以外にはありません。これは、最高の直短距離で す。

3　結婚は、愛を完成するためにするのです。横的に左と右、東と西を男性と女性とすれば、その男性と女性の真の理想は直短距離を通るので、水平面に対して 横的な愛の直短距離は、中央の一点しかないのです。これは、九〇度以外にはありません。これが横になれば、楕円形になります。これではいけません。すべて が同じではなくなります。平等な位置ですべてが同じ基準として立つのは、九〇度以外にはありません。神人一体にする愛の結集場所というものは、九〇度以外 にないのです。

4　神様の愛と人間の愛が問題になります。神様の愛と人間の愛は、色が同じか違うかということが大きな問題です。神様の愛と人間の愛がどこで結ばれるので しょうか。これが結ばれて神人愛一体の拠点を見いださなければ、神様も人間も共に定着できないのです。神様が喜ばれるのに、人間が愛を通じて喜ぶ場が異な る場合には、大変なことになるというのです。

5　新しい時代の二十一世紀は、共義の時代です。新しい時代の二十一世紀は、物質が幅を利かせるのではなく、精神と霊の時代だというのです。
 新しい時代の二十一世紀は、神人一体になって生きる時代です。新しい時代の二十一世紀は、他のために生きることが自分のために生きることより、もっと永遠 の価値があることを悟って生きる時代です。利己主義は色あせ、共生共栄共義の利他主義がついに凱歌をあげる時代、それが正に明けてくるのが二十一世紀で す。

6　人類は、神様を探し出さなければなりません。無形の真の父母が分からない、その無知から抜け出さなければなりません。全知全能性の示現としてつくられ た宇宙の、無窮で奥妙な秩序の中に暮らしながらも、創造主の偉業に感謝することを知らない背逆を、これ以上繰り返してはいけないのです。堕落した人間は、 自分の生命の主人が自分だという傲慢から抜け出し、神様の真の愛の絶対「性」の前に自覚された霊性を育てなければなりません。

7　神様は、真の父母であられます。真の愛をより大きく永遠無窮に投入しようとする心情を、絶対的なものとして固く生きられる神様を発見しなければなりま せん。御自身の絶対、唯一、不変、永遠の真の愛、真の生命、真の血統を完全に相続させる対象として人類を造られた神様の情を知らなければなりません。
そうして、絶対の真の父母、真の師、真の主人であられる神様と真の父母を、私たち個人、家庭、氏族、民族、国家、世界、天宙の絶対価値の軸として立てなけ ればならないのです。個人的な生活から家庭、国家、世界的な生活の根本にならなければなりません。革命をすべきです。真の愛のために生きる道である天地父 母の伝統的な道に、千年、万年、変わることなく従っていきたいと思わなければなりません。そのようにすれば、家庭問題、社会問題、人種問題、宗教間の葛藤 問題など、解けない問題はあり得ないのです。

8　創造理想世界である神人一体の心情世界で暮らす時代が来なければなりません。他のために生きることが、「私」のために生きることよりもっと永遠の価値 があることを悟って生きる時代、自己中心の利己主義時代が色あせ、共生共栄共義の利他主義世界を創建しなければなりません。私たちは、その目的のために神 様と霊界を正しく知り、さらには全世界に天道を証しながら人類を正しく指導し、神様の真の愛と真の生命、そして真の血統に連結された天宙大家族を形成し、 神様の祖国と故郷を地上と天上に創建しなければなりません。

9　神様が創造した当時に理想とされた神人愛一体の家庭が完成していたならば、私たちは天国に入っていたでしょう。ですから、問題になるのは、神様と人間 の真の愛が主体と対象の真の愛として一つにならなければ、神様と人間の真の愛が互いに違うものになるため、二つの方向と目的地が設定されるということで す。そのようになれば、神様と人間が願う絶対的な理想世界は探し出せません。
その二つの真の愛が一点で出発することを願った神様のみ旨は、堕落によって完全に停止してしまいました。サタンの愛を中心として偽りの父母が生じ、人類は 偽りの愛と偽りの生命、そして偽りの血統を受け継いだ子孫なので、みな地獄に行くのです。天国と関係がありません。今まで、肉身を制御し、心が思いどおり にできる人を中心として、神様の真の愛を占領しなければならないという事実を知りませんでした。

10　神人愛一体、この一体はどこで成し遂げられるのでしょうか。神様の愛と人間の愛がどこで合わさるかという論理を、今まで誰も知りませんでした。これ が分からなければ、「父なる神」という言葉は荒唐無稽(むけい)であり、関係ない言葉です。アダムとエバの実体の結婚式が神様の結婚式になるのです。霊界 に行ってみれば、それがはっきり分かります。これまで分からなかった理論がすべて当てはまるのです。
ですから、皆さんが神様の愛を占領してこそ、その欲心が満たされ、「これでよし」と言うのです。作用は、主体と対象がいなければなりません。人間の欲望が 作用するためには、「私」が相対であれば主体がいなければならないというのです。その主体が神様の愛です。神人愛一体圏の特権的基準を賦与したので、それ を成就するときまで、欲望はいつでも活動するのです。それを占領すれば満たされるのです。

11　信仰生活において「神様！」と叫ぶことは、神様の信頼を受けるためです。信頼を受ければ、結局、神様の愛の一体圏を訪ねていくのです。そのようにす ることによって、人間の愛と神様の愛が一つになるというのです。

12　統一教会は、安息日の代わりに侍義、侍ることによって救いを得る時代に入っていきます。侍るときは、ただ侍るのではありません。永遠に安着すべき神 様が臨在して、家庭に入ってきて安着した場で侍ることによって、神様と一緒に生活できる、解放圏ではなく釈放圏が成し遂げられるのです。今まで、一週間を 中心として聖日としてきましたが、十数圏内で最も重要な日が八日です。八日は再出発の日です。八日が最も重要な日なので、安着侍義の日です。「安侍日」が 定着し、神様に侍ることによって、初めて救いを得るのです。

13　侍義時代とは何でしょうか。神様に侍って暮らす時代です。聖書における第一の戒めも、「神様を愛しなさい」というみ言ではないでしょうか。後天時代 には、神様御自身が真の父母の姿で万民の前に顕現されます。したがって、真の父母に侍る統一教会の立場は、世の中のいかなる力や勢力とも比較できない天の 権勢として現れるのです。

14　今日、堕落した人間に父母はいますが、その父母は真の父母ではありません。その父母は、神様に認定を受けた父母ではありません。それでは、終わりの 日に私たちがすべきこととは何でしょうか。私たちが生きているこのときに、宇宙的な父母に侍り、教団的な父母に侍り、家庭的な父母にまで侍らなければなり ません。すなわち、三大父母に侍らなければならないのです。
 家庭は民を代表することができ、教団は子女を身代わりすることができ、宇宙的な父母は真の父母を身代わりできる型です。今日、地上に人間が暮らしています が、神様が許した真の父母の愛の圏から外れています。父母と血肉が相通じる関係が、生まれてから永遠の世界まで連結されていないことが悲しいことなので す。そのため、家庭的な父母から教団的な父母、宇宙的な父母と神様の愛が絡み合って、初めて六千年全体の愛の圏に入っていき、神様のみ前に顔を上げて立つ ことができます。これが、私たち人間が必ず行くべき路程です。

15　エデンの園でアダムとエバは思いのままに堕落し、その堕落圏内で生きたので、直接的な侍る生活ができませんでした。このような侍る生活ができなかっ た人間は、天上の天国に入る資格がありません。しかし、皆さんは、堕落の血統を受けて生活しましたが、復帰の一つの路程を蕩減し、アダムとエバが侍ること のできなかった真の父母に地上で実体をもって侍り、神様に侍って生きてから逝ったという条件によって、天国に入っていける資格を得るというのです。それで こそ、天国の市民権を得るのです。

16　神様を宇宙の父母として侍れば、神様の愛がこの地上に君臨するというのです。そのようになる日には、神様の愛を受けて兄弟を愛するようになり、「け んかしなさい」と言ってもしなくなります。エデンの園での堕落は、どれほど忌まわしいことでしょうか。エデンの園で争い、今まで血を流してきた路程がどれ ほど忌まわしいことでしょうか。個人が天国に行こうとすれば、一人では行けません。二人が合わさり、兄と弟が一つになって父母に侍っていかなければなりま せん。

17　「天一国平和統一平定」を宣布します。「天一国平和統一平定」とは、どこでも同じだというのです。同じでないものはどこにもないという意味です。 「平定世界時代を発表する」ということです。「天一国平和統一平定時代到来発表宣言」、この言葉は、天の国や地上が同じだという意味なのです。ですから平 定です。先祖を呼べば、子孫が真の天一国平和統一の祝福を受けた家庭なので、先祖は答えてあげなければなりません。したがって、霊界が地上に自由自在に再 臨でき、地上人の願いが自由自在に先祖と神様のみ前に報告される時代のことを意味するのです。それで、平定時代到来発表を宣言するのです。

18　私たちの願いは、神様と同じ位置に立つことです。同位権です。同居権は一緒に暮らすことです。その次に同参権です。同行権でも同参権でも同じです。 一緒に参席し、一緒に行動しなければなりません。その次に同愛権、共に、愛の目的のために生きるのです。それで、イエス様も「わたしは道であり、真理であ り、命である。だれでもわたしによらないでは、父のみもとに行くことはできない」（ヨハネ一四・六)と言ったのです。

 「わたしは道であり、真理であり、命である」と言ったのですが、「愛」という言葉が抜けました。天一国は、愛を中心として行くのです。ですから、皆さんの 願いは、父母様と共に同じ位置にとどまりたいということなのです。父母様と共に暮らしたい、父母様と共にすべてのことに同参して行いたいというのです。永 遠に共に、愛を中心として幸福に、自由に解放された立場で生きなさいというのです。そのような意味で、天一国平和統一平定時代が来たというのです。

そのため、皆さんが動くときは、一人で動くのではなく、皆さんの国がついて回るというのです。霊界全体が、天の国全体がついて回り、地上世界と万民が擁護 する中で、主人の資格をもって暮らしているというのです。ですから、神様の愛の伝統をもって、「私」の一族を通して侍り、「私」が一国の伝統の骨となる思 想に侍る主人にならなければなりません。

1 I have agonized most of all over the issue of how God and human beings can become one body, and how to explain this logically. A theory cannot be put forth unless it is clear. If the fundamental position of human love is not established, everything else will go wrong. (249-223, 19931010)

2 In seeking answers to the most fundamental questions, I constantly wondered where on earth I could find the realm of oneness between God and humanity. This is an important question. Until it is resolved, the starting point and the end point will not coincide. While reflecting on this, a realization came to me like a bolt of lightning: true love travels by the most direct and shortest route. This realization answered my question. If true love connects heaven and earth, it takes the straightest and shortest route between them. In other words, there is only one vertical line; at any given point on a horizontal line, there is only one line that forms a 90-degree angle to it. This marks the straightest path and shortest distance. (250-153, 19931014)

3 We marry in order to perfect love. We say that horizontally, a man and a woman are right and left, or east and west. Since their true ideal has them connecting along the straightest, shortest path, the straightest and shortestpath of love intersects the level plane at only one point, the center on that plane, at 90 degrees. If it tilts to the side it does not work, because it ends up forming an oval and the two sides will not be the same. It is only at the 90-degree angle that both can stand in an equal position with the same standard. The love that leads to the embodiment of God in human beings is found only at the 90-degree angle. 4 Love between God and human beings is the major question. For example, is the color of God's love, the same as the color of our love? And where does Gods love meet ours? If this does not happen, if we do not unite with God in love, neither we nor God can settle. If God is rejoicing with one standard of love, and we are rejoicing with another, a serious problem will arise. (257-059, 19940313)

5 The new age in the twenty-first century is an age of universal values. It is an age when material things do not dominate our mind and spirit. It is an age when we live in oneness with God. In the twenty-first century, people will realize that living for the sake of others is far more valuable than living for oneself. Self-centeredness will fade away and altruism, based on interdependence, mutual prosperity and universally shared values, will finally and triumphantly emerge. (219-122, 19910828)

6 Humanity has to find God. We haveto dispel our ignorance of the incorporeal True Parent. We are blind to the great works of the Creator, even as we live within the infinite, profound and mysterious order of the universe, in which God's omniscience and omnipotence are revealed. We should no longer perpetuate this appalling situation. As fallen humanity we have to free ourselves from arrogance, thinking we own our own life. In the presence of Gods true love, we need to awaken our spirituality and maintain the standard of absolute sex. (400-099, 20021227)

7 God is the True Parent. You have to discover the living God, who is committed to investing true love for all eternity. Then you will come to understand the heart of God in creating us as His object partners. His desire is to give us absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal true love, true life and true lineage. Thus you can relate to God, the absolute True Parent, True Teacher and True Owner; and with the True Parents as the axis of absolute values for the individual, the family, tribe, people, nation, world and cosmos. They should become the root of your life, from your daily affairs to those of your family, nation and world. We have to start a revolution. If we determine to follow for tens of thousands of years, without change, the tradition of the Parents of Heaven and Earth— the path of true love, of living for the sake of others—there will be no problem that cannot be resolved, whether inthe family or society, or between races or religions.(400-099, 20021227)

8 The age will surely come when we live in the ideal world of creation, the world of oneness in heart between God and humankind. In that age, people will realize that it is eternally more valuable to live for others than for themselves. We have to build this world, where self-centeredness fades away and is replaced with altruism, based on the ideals of interdependence, mutual prosperity and civic virtue. To accomplish that purpose, we need to understand God and the spirit world correctly, so that our testimony about the heavenly way will guide humankind and the world. We will form thereby one great cosmic family connected to God's true love, true life and true lineage, and build Gods homeland and hometown on earth and in heaven. (400-100, 20021227) 

9 If the family that God envisioned, in which He is embodied in human beings through love, had come about at the time of creation, we all would have entered the kingdom of heaven. The problem is that God and human beings were unable to become one as subject partner and object partners through true love. Their love diverged, resulting in two directions and two purposes. As long as this condition remains, God and humanity will not find the absolute, ideal world. God had intended that true love between thesepartners begin from a single point, but the Fall brought His plan to a complete halt and, instead, false parents emerged through Satan's love. Since we are all their descendants, who inherited false love, false life and false lineage, we live in hell. Human beings have nothing to do with the kingdom of heaven. Nevertheless, we have been unaware that we need to find God's true love, centered on one person who has overcome the physical body and acts with perfect freedom. (275-054, 19951031)

10 We speak of the embodiment of God in human beings through love, but where is this embodiment achieved? Until now, no one has understood logically where God's love and human love merge. Without knowing this, calling God "Father" is meaningless. The word has nothing to do with God. Actually, Adam and Eves wedding ceremony should have been God's wedding ceremony. When you go to the spirit world you will know this for sure. You will see that these incomprehensible words are correct. Only when you capture God's love is your ambition so fully satisfied that you can say, "Now I am content." Action occurs only when there are a subject partner and an object partner. As human beings, attaining our highest ambition is only possible through a subject partner. That subject partner is God's love. Since God intended us to become His embodiment through love, we are destined to long for that until itis achieved. We will be content only when we arrive at that point. (252-119, 199311 14)

11 In your life of faith, you cry out "God!" in the hope that He will hear you and trust in you. Once you have His trust, you will eventually seek to achieve a state of oneness with God, as one body through love. By doing so, your love and God's love will merge. (258-098, 19940317)

12 Instead of observing a traditional day of Sabbath, the Unification Church is entering the age of salvation through justification by attendance. Put simply, it is the age of attendance. The attendance I am referring should not be taken lightly; it should enable God to enter your family and abide there. That is not only a realm of liberation, but a realm of complete freedom in which you live together with God. Until now, we observed the Sabbath every week. Nonetheless, within the range of ten, the eighth day is most important. This is because it marks a new beginning, a day of peaceful settlement through justification by attendance. Finally this day, called Ahn Shi II in Korean, could come about, allowing us to achieve salvation through attending God. (445-265, 20040419)

13 What does the age of justification through attendance mean? It means this is an age of living in attendance to God. Doesn't the first of the Ten Commandments in the Bible tell us tolove God? In the Era after the Coming of Heaven, however, God manifests Himself to all people in the form of the True Parents. Therefore the stature of the Unification Church, whose members attend the True Parents, will reflect Heaven's power and authority, a power and influence without equal in the world. 14 Surely fallen people have parents, but they are not true parents. God does not recognize those parents as true parents. Then what is it that we need to do today, in the Last Days? Within our life-time we should attend parents on the level of the universe, on the level of religion, and on the family level. This means we need to serve three sets of parents. As individuals in a family, we attend our parents. As children, in the religious sphere, we attend True Parents. As parents, on the universal level, we attend the True Parent, God. People living on earth today are not within the realm of True Parents' love approved by God. Unfortunately, our relationship with our physical parents does not extend all the way from our birth to the eternal world. Only when we combine the love of the parents who represent the family, the religious sphere and the universe with God's love, can we enter the realm of His love that encompasses six thousand years of history. Then we can stand in His presence and lift up our faces before Him. This is the course we are bound to take. (005-123, 19590104)

15 Because Adam and Eve fell in the garden of Eden of their own volition, and lived in the fallen realm, they could never experience a life of serving God directly. Those who have not been able to serve God are not qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. Nonetheless, although you inherited the false lineage, you are qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven on the condition that while you lived on earth in the flesh you attended God, the True Parent, whom Adam and Eve did not attend while on the earth. By doing so, you indemnify the course of restoration and acquire citizenship in the kingdom of heaven. (150-315, 19610415)

16 When we come to attend God as the Parent of the universe, His love will reign on earth. On that day we will receive His love and we will be able to love our siblings. In that world, even if we were ordered to fight, we would not fight among ourselves. How terrible the Fall in the garden of Eden was! How terrible has been the course of bloodshed that began with the conflict there and has continued until now! You cannot go to the kingdom of heaven alone as an individual. At least two—you and your older brother—must unite and go on the foundation of attendance to your parents. (105-341, 19791028)

17 I hereby proclaim peace and unity everywhere in CheonIlGuk This phrase means that peace and unity cover everything wherever you go, withoutexception. I am proclaiming the era of a world of peace and equality. The phrase, "Proclamation on the Arrival of the CheonIlGuk Era with Peace and Unity Everywhere," states that heaven and earth are one. Thus, when families who received the Blessing on earth for peace and unity in CheonIlGuk call upon their ancestors, they have to respond. That is why I am saying that we are in the era when the spirit world will be able to descend to the earth at will, and the wishes of people on earth can reach their ancestors and God. On that basis, I am proclaiming the coming of the era of peace and unity everywhere. (396-151, 20021105)

18 Our hope is to stand in the same place as God. This means we have the right to stand in an equal position with God. We also have the right to live together, and the right to participate. The right to participate means the right to act together. That is, you should participate together and act together. After that comes the right to love together. We—God and each of us—live together for the purpose of love. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one conies to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) He said that he is the truth, meaning the Word, and the life, but he left out love. CheonIlGuk advances based on love. That is why you have the desire to remain in the same place as True Parents, You want to live with True Parents and to participate in everything they do. This means youwant to live together happily and freely for eternity, in a position of freedom, based on love. In that sense, the era of peace and unity everywhere in CheonIlGuk has now come. Consequently, when you move, you are not moving alone. Your nation is surrounding you. The entire spirit world, heaven, is surrounding you. You are living as an owner amid the protection of the physical world and its people. You have to become an owner who can serve and attend in the tradition of God's love. Your clan should uphold this teaching as the framework for a nation. (396-152, 20021105)
