제 23급......勘尙(감상)......바로 잡아 주어도 여전함.......第312事

  Grade 23 :  Gamsang(勘尙,감상)... Remaining Unrepentant Even Under Interrogation... Article 312.

勘尙(감상)은 그치게 하고 바로 잡아 주어도 고치지 않는 것이다.

  Gamsang(勘尙,감상)  refers to a state where someone does not change,  

   even when told to stop and when corrected.

한번 惡(악)을 저지름에  그치게 함으로서 구제하고,

  when aperson commits evil once, they are saved by being made to stop,

두 번 惡(악)을 저지름에 바로잡아 줌으로써 구제한다.

  and when they commit evil a second time, they are saved by being corrected.

그럼에도 오히려 고쳐야 함을 알지 못하여 죽을때 까지 惡(악)을 만드는 것은 미친 惡(악)이니

가히 그 재앙을 받게 된다.

 Nevertheless, continuing to create evil until death without realizing the need to reform

 is a form of insane evil, which will ultimately bring its own disaster.

勘尙者는 懲勘而不改也라 (감상자는 징감이불개야라)

  A person of Gamsang(one who is persistent in wrongdoing) does not refers even after

   being admonished and corrected.

一惡은 經懲하고 (일악은 경징하고)

  A single act of evil is addressed through admonition(to make them stop),

再惡은 經勘이로대 猶不知改하여 (재악은 경감이로대  유부지개하여)

  A repeated(second) act of evil is addressed through correction,

  yet if they still do not realize the need to reform,

終身做惡은 狂惡也니 可領其禍니라. (종신주악은 광악야니  가령기화니라.)

  Committing evil for a lifetime is an insane evil,  and one will surely bring disaster upon oneself.
