최고의 우상은 무엇일까?

(사44:9-20)
9 All who make idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Those who would speak up for them are blind; they are ignorant, to their own shame.  10 Who shapes a god and casts an idol, which can profit him nothing?  11 He and his kind will be put to shame; craftsmen are nothing but men. Let them all come together and take their stand; they will be brought down to terror and infamy.  12 The blacksmith takes a tool and works with it in the coals; he shapes an idol with hammers, he forges it with the might of his arm. He gets hungry and loses his strength; he drinks no water and grows faint.  13 The carpenter measures with a line and makes an outline with a marker; he roughs it out with chisels and marks it with compasses. He shapes it in the form of man, of man in all his glory, that it may dwell in a shrine.  14 He cut down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak. He let it grow among the trees of the forest, or planted a pine, and the rain made it grow.  15 It is man's fuel for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it.  16 Half of the wood he burns in the fire; over it he prepares his meal, he roasts his meat and eats his fill. He also warms himself and says, "Ah! I am warm; I see the fire."  17 From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says, "Save me; you are my god."  18 They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.  19 No one stops to think, no one has the knowledge or understanding to say, "Half of it I used for fuel; I even baked bread over its coals, I roasted meat and I ate. Shall I make a detestable thing from what is left? Shall I bow down to a block of wood?"  20 He feeds on ashes, a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, "Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?"  


오늘의 말씀은 우상(偶像)에 대한 말씀
‘nothing’이라는 단어를 5번 사용함을 본다
‘아무것도 아니다’라는 무효용(無效用)의 의미로 사용하셨다는 
판단(判斷)을 한다

우상의 재료는 금은동철목석(金銀銅鐵木石)
본래의 상태를 장인(匠人)들의 손을 거쳐 만들어 지는데...
만들어 지기 이전과 이후
그것을 향한 인간들의 태도는 판이(判異)한 상이(相異)를 보인다는 점

하나님의 오늘의 말씀의 요지는 
사실은 우상 역시 금은동철목석(金銀銅鐵木石)에 지나지 않아
그 자체 일 때와 형상을 갖추었을 때가 전혀 다를 바 없는 무지무지무능무효(無知無智無能無效)일 터
‘nothing’ 이라는 말씀

그러나 유사이래(有史以來) 인생들은
왜 우상숭배행위(偶像崇拜行爲)를 무지무지무능무효(無知無智無能無效)임에도 불구하고
멈추지 못했던 것이고...
하나님은 성경 전체에 걸쳐서 우상숭배근절(偶像崇拜根絶)을 언급(言及)하시는 것일까?
다른 이유(理由)... 있는 것일까?

있다!
그것은 바로 그 금은동목석(金銀銅木石) 자체가 아니라 
불가시존재(不可視存在)이신 하나님을 볼 수 없게 된 타락이후(墮落以後)의 부작용(副作用)으로 말미암아 
가시의존적존재(可視依存的存在)인 인생(人生)들의 본능적경향(本能的傾向) 때문...

하나님을 대적하다가 강등(降等)된 
인간의 유약(柔弱)함과 하나님의 말씀에 엇나감을 하나님께 고소고발(告訴告發)
한걸음 더 나아가 인간의 타락본성(墮落本性)을 자극(刺戟)하는 역할을 하는데
우상(偶像)은 좋은 애용물(愛用物)인 까닭이다

그런 차원에서 본다면
우상숭배근절명령(偶像崇拜根絶命令)이란 
금은동목석(金銀銅木石)에 대한 제작금지명령(製作禁止命令)이라기 보다
사단에게 빌미를 주니 말라시는...사단 관련 명령 이었던 것

그런데 ... 작금 기독교를 위기에 빠뜨리는 그것은 
목회자들의 권명금(權名金)
결코 버려야 할 그것을 품고
그것을 지님이 성공(成功) 부흥(復興)이라는 착각(錯覺)을 하고 있음이니...

오늘날의 무서운 우상은
제종교(諸宗敎)의 그것들이 아니라
우리 기독교 내에 스며 들어 온 인본주의(人本主義)와 물질만능주의(物質萬能主義)
하나님의 말씀을 이용한 사리사욕(私利私慾) 채우기 하는 존재들이 기독교의 보좌를 차지하고 하나님께 드린 헌금(獻金) 자신들이 벌어들인 것도 아니면서 횡령죄(橫領罪)에 해당하는 것조차 인식하지 못하는 행태를 유지하고 있다는 점이 더 참혹(慘酷)을 일으키는 상황(狀況)...

주님!
오늘도 구합니다.
빌4:13 하신 말씀대로 임을 믿사오니
성경독청묵기적(聖經讀聽黙祈適) 왕제중양(往弟重養) 언지신행일치(言知信行一致)의 운동(運動)이라는 신약(神藥) 배포에 성공 민21:4-9 의 본(本) 대로 치유은총수용기회(治癒恩寵受容機會) 다시 한 번 주옵소서... 주여!
