1 "Go down, sit in the dust, Virgin Daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, Daughter of the Babylonians. No more will you be called tender or delicate.  2 Take millstones and grind flour; take off your veil. Lift up your skirts, bare your legs, and wade through the streams.  3 Your nakedness will be exposed and your shame uncovered. I will take vengeance; I will spare no one."  4 Our Redeemer--the LORD Almighty is his name--is the Holy One of Israel.  5 "Sit in silence, go into darkness, Daughter of the Babylonians; no more will you be called queen of kingdoms.  6 I was angry with my people and desecrated my inheritance; I gave them into your hand, and you showed them no mercy. Even on the aged you laid a very heavy yoke.  7 You said, 'I will continue forever--the eternal queen!' But you did not consider these things or reflect on what might happen.  8 "Now then, listen, you wanton creature, lounging in your security and saying to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.'  9 Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells.  10 You have trusted in your wickedness and have said, 'No one sees me.' Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me.'  11 Disaster will come upon you, and you will not know how to conjure it away. A calamity will fall upon you that you cannot ward off with a ransom; a catastrophe you cannot foresee will suddenly come upon you.  12 "Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries, which you have labored at since childhood. Perhaps you will succeed, perhaps you will cause terror.  13 All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you.  14 Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by.  15 That is all they can do for you--these you have labored with and trafficked with since childhood. Each of them goes on in his error; there is not one that can save you.  

바벨론 제국은
고(古) 바벨론 제국 (BC 1894–1595)
신(新)바벨론 제국 (BC 626–539)으로 나뉜다

고(古) 바벨론은 함무라비 왕(Hammurabi, BC 18C)때 가장 강성했으나
BC 1595년경, 헷 제국의 왕 무르실리 1세(Mursili I)의 기습공격으로 
멸망하고 말았다

신(新)바벨론 제국은 
나보폴라살(Akkadian:Nabû-apla-uṣur,나부-압라-우수르 BC 626~605,약 21년간 통치)
느부갓네살 2세(Akkadian: Nabû-kudurri-uṣur BC 605~562, 43년간 통치)

이사야(Isaiah, 히브리어 יְשַׁעְיָהוּ Yəša‘yāhû, “여호와는 구원이시다”,약 BC 740~681, 약 60년)
이사야의 사역이 끝난 후 약 75년~120년 후에 느부갓네살이 등장
느부갓네살보다 약 1세기(100년) 이상 앞선 인물임 ...확인

그러니까 오늘의 본문은 
느부갓네살이라는 존재가 이 땅에 태어나지도 않았던 아득한 옛날에 노출하신
하나님의 예정예언(豫定豫言)이라는 말씀

사44:28-45:1을 보면 페르시아왕 고레스(B.C. 600–530)에 대한 언급이 나오는데...
그 역시 150년전에 하나님은 그의 이름까지 언급하시면서
예정예언(豫定豫言)하셨음을 확인할 수 있다

성경 전체에서 최대 약 77회 언급되었다는 
“너희가 내가 여호와인 줄 알리라(know that I am the LORD)”는 표현

오늘의 본문 역시 
다를 바 없는 
하나님의 의도(意圖)가 반영된 노출이라 할 것이다

BC(605,597,586)은 남유다가 바벨론왕 느브갓네살에 의해 공격받음
그 결과로 남유다는 렘25:11 렘29:10의 말씀대로 70년간 바벨론 유수생활(幽囚生活)을 해야 했는데...
그 과정에서 바벨론의 군대는 참으로 무자비참혹(無慈悲慘酷)하게 유다백성들을 대하여 하나님의 눈살을 찌푸리게 했던 것 같다

비록 유다를 사랑하지만
출34:7의 언약(言約)을 적용(適用)할 수 밖에 없어서 바벨론을 사용했지만
하나님은 그런 악의 도구로...형벌의 도구로 사용하시면서도 그런 도통매(道通媒) 바벨론이 미우셨던 것 같다

하여 하나님은 오늘의 본문 9절의 ’in a moment, on a single day:‘
한마디로 갑자기 어느날 바벨론에 대해서 철퇴를 가하겠다는 표현
BC539.10.12 페르시아의 고레스에 의해서 과거 어느 전쟁도 그렇듯 참혹(慘酷)완망하게 (完亡)하게 됨으로 오늘의 본문을 성취되어 역사적 현실이 되고 말았던 것

신바벨론제국의 존재시기는  BC 626~ 539 ,87년간
바로 그동안 이렇다 할 외세의 침략이 허용되지 않았던 점에 의해 표현 된 1절의 ’ Virgin Daughter of Babylon, Daughter of the Babylonians)
결국 하나님의 예정(豫定)대로 역사의 뒤안길로 사라지게 되었던 것

오늘도 하나님은 
역사(歷史)의 창조섭리유일자(創造攝理唯一者)임을 천명(闡明)
그분에 의한 롬8:30의 대상(對象)으로 택(擇) 함 받았음에 감사

주님의 도통매(道通媒)가 됨에 감사
그렇게 살 수 있음에 감사
매일매일(每日每日) 호흡(呼吸)을 잇게 하셔서 주님의 일을 할 수 있게 하심 감사
