Item 20 : Ja - gi( 自記,자기)... Spontaneous Recording(Naturally Writing)... Item 24.
● Ja - gi( 自記,자기) means that one naturally comes to write without harboring
a greedy desire to write.
● For those who desire to write,
it happens automatically even without any inner seeking or strving(救,구/ 求,구)
● Because a practitioner of the Way(修道,수도) anchors their sincerity in universal reason(理 리,I),
even if they sustain their physical body on nothing but plain wild-herb porridge,
their mind reaches and encompasses the ultimate truth.
● therefore, even if ten thousand fleeting thousand cross and tangle within,
the unwavering aspiration―completely free from distraction―rests solely upon Sincerity(誠,성).
[Original Text]

without seeking it from the mind.

■ 己爲糝腦洽精이라 故로 雖萬想交迭이나 (기위삼뇌흡정이라 고로 수만상교질이나)
and treats even coarse, humble food as a rich feast for the body.
Therefore, though ten thousand thoughts may cross and lternate.
■ 斷斷一念이 不外乎誠이라. (단단일념이 불외호성이라.)
One′sfirm, single-minded devotion never departs from Sincerity.
[Notes]
● Reason(理리, I) is the immutable truth.
● If a practitioner of the Way(修道,수도) does not seek this immuyable truth,
they cannot truly be called a practitioner.
● Furthermore, since the mindset of seeking truth is a pursuit of the most valuable
thing in this world, that desire in itself is already immensely vast.
● if one harbors greed for anything beyoud that, it is either excessivs avarice
or a sign that they have abandoned their initial desire for the truth.
●Therefore, a person who seeks thee immutable truth finds total alone,
leaving no room to seek anything elsse within their heart.
● For such a person, words flow and write themselves naturally,
even without making a conscious effort or harboring greed to write.
