Job responsibility
Plan, direct and participate in the analysis and preparation of financial statements, P&L’s, budget documents, funding requests for marketing, business case development and approval and a variety of financial reports.
Participate in the compilation and preparation of annual budgets prepare cash flow and expenditure projections.
Prepare financial and statistical reports prepare necessary work and documentation for necessary for budgeting.
Coordinate the collection and refinement (if applicable) Direct and Sponsored Marketing planning and financial forecast and reports.
Serve as financial administration resource to the AHA Korea-DM organization.
Provide information regarding various accounts, revenues and expenditures.
Liaise with Financial Accounting area , which is highly dependent on this person for Direct and Sponsored Marketing direction and support.
Analyze, audit and account for special revenue received by the various entities relating to funding requests and obtain authorized approvals.
Provide technical assistance and training to less experienced staff in matters related to financial accounting and budget administration.
Monitor and audit various accounts verifying availability of marketing funds, classification of expenditures, research and analyze transactions to resolve problems.
Participate in the development and implementation of strategies designed to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop and administer budgets for special programs or projects respond to inquiries relative to area of assignment monitor funding requirements for special projects.
Incremental test including DAC recovery and Full Contract Value to evaluate DM campaign efficiencies and strategies
Validation of internal allocations such as the call centers, etc
Involve and coordinate SOX project with Finance Dept.
Requirement
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
1.Understanding of principle practices of budget preparation and monitoring.
2.Methods and techniques of marketing and financial analysis
3.Concepts and practices of mathematics and finance
4.Generally accepted finance and accounting principles and procedures
5.Modern office methods, practices, procedures and computer applications and equipment
6.Advanced principles and procedures of financial record keeping and reporting
7.Principles of advance report preparation
And, ability to
1.Bilingual (Korean and English)
2.Prepare and interpret a variety of complex reports and analysis.
3.Independently perform difficult analytical tasks
4.Work independently in the absence of supervision
5.Communicate clearly and concisely, both oral and in writing
6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Also, preferred
1.Knowledge of analytical works in marketing finance and planning in financial services industry (if possible in either Life or General Insurance).
2.Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with major course in accounting, finance or a related field.
