The CSC key, or Combination Stick Command, is a function on some DJI drones that starts or stops the motors. You can use the CSC key in Normal or Sport mode. 

How to use the CSC key 

To start the motors, pull both sticks down and to the corners.

To stop the motors, pull both sticks down and to the corners.

To take off, slowly push the throttle stick up.

When to use the CSC key

You can use the CSC key to start the motors. 

You can use the CSC key to stop the motors when the drone is on the ground or in an emergency. 

You should not use the CSC key while the drone is flying unless it's an emergency. 

When is it an emergency? 

You might need to use the CSC key in an emergency if the drone is in a collision, a motor has stalled, or the drone is out of control.
