#BreakthroughsHappenHere: Art Speaks 3.0 Visual Odyssey - Student Artist Showcase

Hi, I’m Bawonluk, a MYP 5 student from Fairview International School Penang. My artwork, ‘The Path to Success’, presents a sophisticated idea using analogies, with a color scheme inspired by Coco from Pixar Animation to convey a positive vibe and sense of excitement. During this journey, I discovered that sometimes an artwork doesn’t need to be filled with colours.

Exploring the ‘Wet on Wet’ technique allowed me to experiment with different elements and brush techniques, opening doors to new styles like dadaism. As an IB student, I utilized my Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, particularly critical thinking, research, and self-management, in creating this piece. Through my artwork, I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams despite life’s obstacles, focusing on their desired goals and embracing the different paths to success.

안녕하세요, 저는 페어뷰 국제학교 페낭에 재학 중인 MYP 5 학생 바원룩입니다. 제 작품인 '성공의 길'은 픽사 애니메이션의 코코에서 영감을 받아 긍정적인 분위기와 흥분감을 전달하는 색채 체계와 함께 비유를 사용하여 세련된 아이디어를 제시합니다. 이 여정에서 저는 때때로 예술 작품이 색으로 채워질 필요가 없다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
'습식' 기법을 탐구하면서 다양한 요소와 붓 기술을 실험하고 다다이즘과 같은 새로운 스타일의 문을 열 수 있었습니다. IB 학생으로서 저는 이 작품을 만들 때 비판적 사고, 연구, 자기 관리 등 ATL(Access to Learning) 기술을 활용했습니다. 제 작품을 통해 다른 사람들이 인생의 장애물에도 불구하고 꿈을 추구하고 원하는 목표에 집중하며 성공의 다양한 길을 포용하도록 영감을 주고 싶습니다.
