  Level 29 : Bulgae(不改,불개)... Failing / Failing to reform or correct... Article 319. 

不改(불개)는 惡(악)함을 아는 사람이 의당 고치려고 하지만 차마 고치지 못하는 것이다.

  Bulgae(不改,불개) means that a person who recognizes their wickedness rightly intends to reform it,

  yet cannot bear to bring themselves to correct it.

고쳐야 한다는 것을 알면 당연히 고쳐야 하면서도 차마 고치지 못하는 사람은 이익을 위하기 때문으로서

  Knowing that one must reform, someone who rightly ought to correct it but cannot bear

  to do so acts out of self-interest.

어두운 惡(악)함에 들떠 있는 것이니 그 재앙을 받게 된다.

  Thus, they are carried away by a dark wickedness and are bound to receive the calamity it brings.

不改者는 知惡人 當改而不忍改也라 (불개자는 지악인 당개이불인개야라)

  Bulgae(failing to reform) means that a person who knows their wickedness ought to correct it,

  yet cannot  bear to reform.

知其當改로대 不忍改者는 爲欲利也니 (지기당개로대  불인개자는 위욕리야니)

  One wh knows they should reform yet cannot bring themsalves to do so acts out of

  a desirefor profit / gain.

浮於昧惡이라 可領其禍니라. (부어매악이라 가령기화니라.)

  This is floating(being carried away) upon dark wickedness,

   so one will inevitably receive the calamity(禍,화) it brings.
