Jeremiah 28-29
Hananiah’s False Prophecy
28장
1 In that same year, at the beginning of the reign of King Zedekiah of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur from Gibeon said /to me /in the temple of the Lord /in the presence of the priests and all the people,
* 전치사 in ; 년도에 In that same year, 그달에 in the fifth month, 공간/상황 안에, in the temple, in the presence
* 전치사 at; 한 점/시점에 at the beginning, 전치사 of; of King, of the fourth year, of Azzur 소속, 관련하여
In that same year, at the beginning~, in the fifth month~, /to me, /in the temple~, /in the presence
* 형역전구 of the reign, of King Zedekiah, of Judah, of the fourth year, of the priests and all the people
2 “This is [what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says]:
‘I have broken [the yoke /of the king of Babylon].
3 Within two years I will restore /to this place [all the articles of the Lord’s temple //that King Nebuchadnezzar
of Babylon took /from here and transported /to Babylon].
* within; inside a specific space, limit, time frame, or group.
4 And I will restore /to this place [Jeconiah[a] son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the exiles from Judah
//who went /to Babylon’ —this is the Lord’s declaration—
‘for I will break [the yoke of the king of Babylon].’”

Hananiah Breaks Jeremiah’s Yoke
10 The prophet Hananiah then took the yoke bar /from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it.
11 In the presence of all the people Hananiah proclaimed,
“This is [what the Lord says]:
‘In this way, within two years
I will break [the yoke of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon] /from the neck of all the nations.’”
The prophet Jeremiah then went on [his way].
GO ON 1. to happen: 2. to continue: 3. to move to the next thing or stage:

the word of the Lord came /to Jeremiah:
13 “Go say /to Hananiah, ‘This is [what the Lord says]:
You broke a wooden yoke bar, but in its place you will make an iron yoke bar.
14 For this is [what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says]:
I have put [an iron yoke] /on the neck of all these nations //that they might serve King Nebuchadnezzar
of Babylon, and they will serve him. I have even put [the wild animals] /under him.’”
15 The prophet Jeremiah said /to the prophet Hananiah,
“Listen, Hananiah! The Lord did not send you, but you have led [these people] [to trust in a lie].
* 5 형식 led [these people] [to trust in a lie].
* 부정사구 to trust in a lie를 부역 부정사구로 할 수도 있지만 목적의 준동작 상태 설명이라 보면 형역이 됨)

* 보어인 명사구 the text of the letter //that [the prophet Jeremiah] sent /from Jerusalem /to~ 명+형전구+형절

* 형절 //that I have deported you /to, (관계사 that=전목=선행사=the city, that절인 경우 전치사는 형절 안에 남음)
* 주의; 접속사로 which를 쓰면 문법 규칙상 전치사가 관계사 앞에 쓰임, //to which I have deported you
8 For this is [what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says]:
“Don’t let [your prophets //who are among you and your diviners] [deceive you], (5 형식)

“I am about to send sword, famine, and plague /against them,
and I will make [them] /like rotten figs //that are inedible /because they are so bad.
18 I will pursue them /with sword, famine, and plague.
I will make [them] [a horror /to all the kingdoms of the earth] —a curse and a desolation,
an object of scorn and a disgrace /among all the nations //where I have banished them.

* 호격인 명사구 all you exiles (that) I have sent /from Jerusalem /to Babylon.
1. 명사+명사=복합명사 , 명사+형역인 동격명사 you exiles = you who are exiles
21 This is [what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says /about Ahab son of Kolaiah
and concerning Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, the ones /prophesying a lie to you in my name:
“I am about to hand [them] over /to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon,

* 형역인 동격 명사구/appositive; the ones /prophesying a lie to you in my name: 앞서 언급된 두 사람의 재설명
* be about to~ ; 막 ~하려고 하다

22 Based on [what happens to them],
[all the exiles of Judah //who are in Babylon] will create a curse //that says,
‘May the Lord make [you] /like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted /in the fire!’
Based on [what happens to them], (them=all the exiles of Judah)
[what all the exiles of Judah say] is based on [what happens to them].
* based on과 비슷한 표현; founded on (격식), draw from, According to, Because of,
* 주어인 명사구 [all the exiles of Judah //who are in Babylon]
* New International Version (NIV는 더 쉽게 번역됨) 가짜들 때문에 유대포로들이 이런 저주를 한다;
Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse:
23 because they have committed an outrage /in Israel /by committing adultery with their neighbors’ wives
and have spoken /in my name [a lie], which I did not command them.
I am he //who knows, and I am a witness.” This is the Lord’s declaration.
24 To Shemaiah the Nehelamite you are to say,
25 “This is [what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says]:
You[g] in your own name have sent out [letters] /to all the people of Jerusalem,
to the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah, and to all the priests, saying,
26 ‘The Lord has appointed [you] [priest in place of the priest Jehoiada /to be the chief officer in the temple of the Lord], responsible for every madman //who acts like a prophet.
You must confine [him] /in the stocks and an iron collar.
* 의도설명인 부역 부정사구 /to be the chief officer in the temple of the Lord],
* 삽입구인 형용사구 responsible for every madman who acts like a prophet.
* New Living Translation NLT
“The LORD has appointed [you] [to replace Jehoiada] /as the priest in charge of the house of the LORD.
You are responsible to put into stocks and neck irons [any crazy man //who claims to be a prophet].
27 So now, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth //who has been acting /like a prophet among you?
28 For he has sent word /to us /in Babylon, claiming,
“The exile will be long.
Build houses and settle down.
Plant gardens and eat their produce.”’”
29 The priest Zephaniah read this letter /in the hearing of the prophet Jeremiah.
A Message about Shemaiah
30 Then the word of the Lord came /to Jeremiah:
31 “Send a message /to all the exiles,
saying, ‘This is [what the Lord says /concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite.
Because Shemaiah prophesied /to you,
though I did not send him, and made [you] [trust a lie], (5 형식)
32 this is [what the Lord says]: I am about to punish [Shemaiah the Nehelamite] and his descendants.
There will not be even one of his descendants /living among these people,
nor will any ever see [the good //that I will bring /to my people]
—this is the Lord’s declaration—for he has preached [rebellion /against the Lord].’”
* 숙어 be about to~ ; 막 ~하려하다
* 복합명사구 Shemaiah the Nehelamite 고유명사+동격인 고유명사구; Shemaiah = the Nehelamite
* 형역 현분사구 /living among these people, 컴마 없는 현분사구는 앞 명사 수식
* 목적인 명사구 the good //that I will bring [목=the good] /to my people] 선행사=관계사=목적
* 하나님께서 주시지도 않은 예언/설교를 하는 짓은 하나님께 반역하는 반역자 짓이다
