(렘10:1-11)
1 Hear what the LORD says to you, O house of Israel.  2 This is what the LORD says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the sky, though the nations are terrified by them.  3 For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.  4 They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter.  5 Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good."  6 No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.  7 Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.  8 They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols.  9 Hammered silver is brought from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz. What the craftsman and goldsmith have made is then dressed in blue and purple--all made by skilled workers.  10 But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King. When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.  11 "Tell them this: 'These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.'"  

오늘의 말씀 2절
‘"Do not learn the ways of the nations” ’
롬12:2 의 말씀이 내 뇌리(腦裏)의 수면(水面)에 떠 오른다
“너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라”

하나님은 오늘도 우상(偶像)에 대해서 언급하신다
자연(自然) 속의 그 어떠한 것을 가지고
깍고 다듬고 장식(裝飾)
주조(鑄造)하고 채색(彩色) 그리고 장식(裝飾)

알고 보면 목재(木材) 요 금속(金屬)일 뿐
그 자체(自體)로서는 아무런 능력(能力) 이 없는데...
인간(人間)에게 복(福) 혹은 저주(咀呪)를 줄 수 없는데...
어리석은 인간들은 거기에 의미(意味)를 담아 스스로 두려워하며 복(福)을 달라고...화(禍)를 피(避)하게 해 달라고 갖은 예식(禮式)을 만들어 숭배(崇拜)한다는 것이 하나님의 설명(說明)

아마도 창2:17 하나님의 명령을 어기고 
창3:6 선악을 알게 하는 나무의 실과를 따 먹은 후로 
그 나무 그 열매로 인간을 유혹하여 하나님 주신 언약(言約)을 파기(破棄)하도록 한 사단의 영향(影響)
지속적(持續的)으로 계20:14-15 지옥(地獄) 불못에 떨어지기까지 사단에게 속게 되어 있는 연약성(軟弱性) 때문인 것으로 사료(思料)된다

하여 우상(偶像)의 무능(無能)
숭배(崇拜)할 필요이유(必要理由) 하나도 없다 지속적(持續的)으로 수도 없이 말씀하시는 하나님의 언급(言及)을 생각하면
사단의 영향력(影響力)에서 벗어나게 하시려는 
은혜(恩惠) 베풂의 연속(連續)이라는 생각에 귀결(歸結)된다

현대시대(現代時代)의 우상(偶像)은 
종교적(宗敎的)의 범주(範疇)가 종교(宗敎) 아닌 세계(世界)로까지 퍼져나가
정치(政治) 문화(文化) 사상(思想) 경제(經濟) ...심지어 신학(神學) 까지도...
해당(該當)되지 않는 분야(分野)가 없을 정도(程度)가 되어 버렸음을 알 수 있다

이런 상황(狀況)에서
옥석(玉石)을 가려 진리(眞理)를 찾아내고
요14:6 예수님의 말씀 하심따라 본향(本鄕)에 도착(到着)
하나님 작정예정의도(作定豫定意圖)하신 그 주인공(主人公)이 되려면...

오직
인간인생(人間人生)의 네비게이션 성경(聖經)을 알고 알게 해야 하겠는데...
안타깝게도 나에게는 그 방법(方法)이 없고
한계(限界)를 지닌 나로서는 그저 안타까움으로 가득찬 발만 동동 거리고 있다
