<p>Dear Eun Bin Nim,</p><p>Today, in Malaysia, we have two special  celebrations here.</p><p> </p><p>First is what we called Chap Goh Mei  (in Hokkien dialect) or <b>元宵节 in Chinese </b> or the celebration of the 15th day of the Chinese New Year celebration. The last day of Chinese New Year. Other communities will also participate in this occasion if they have made a vow and it is fulfilled. Breaking of coconuts and carrying of kavadi are parts of the rituals on this day.
