[밀부르가]

성전에 바친 예물

24  나는 사제장들 가운데에서 열둘, 곧 세레브야와 하사브야, 그리고 그들의 형제 가운데에서 열 명을 따로 뽑은 다음,

      Next I selected twelve of the priestly leaders along with Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their kinsmen,

25  은과 금과 기물들을 달아 그들에게 맡겼다. 그것은 임금과 그의 고문관들과 고관들, 그리고 거기에 있는 모든 이스라엘인이 우리 하느님의 집에 예물로 바친 것이었다.

      and I weighed out before them the silver and the gold and the vessels offered for the house of our God by the king, his counselors, his officials, and all the Israelites of that region.

26  내가 무게를 달아 그들 손에 맡긴 것은 은 육백오십 탈렌트, 백 탈렌트에 해당하는 은 기물들, 금 백 탈렌즈,

      I weighed out into their hands these amounts; silver, six hundred and fifty talents; silver vessels, ond hundred; gold, one hundred talents;

27  천 다릭에 해당하는 금 대접 스무 개, 그리고 금처럼 귀하고 빛나는 고급 청동 기물 둘이었다.

      twenty golden bowls valued at a thousand darics; two vases of excellent polished bronze, as precious as gold. 

28  그러고 나서 나는 그들에게 말하였다. "여러분은 주님께 거룩한 사람들입니다. 이 기물들도 거룩한 것입니다. 그리고 은과 금은 여러분 조상들의 하느님이신 주님께 바치는 자원 예물입니다.

      I addressed them in these words: "You are consecrated to the LORD, and the vessels are also consecrated; the silver and the gold are a voluntary offering to the LORD, the God of your ancestors,

29  그러니 이것들을 예루살렘에 있는 주님의 집 창고에서 사제장들가 레위인들과 이스라엘 각 가문의 어른들 앞에서 달아 넘겨줄 때까지, 잘 간수하여 지키십시오."

      Watch over them carefully until you weigh them out in Jerusalem in the presence of the chief priests and Levites and the leaders of ancestral houses of Israel, in the chambers of the house of the LORD."

30  그래서 그 사제들과 레위인들은 예루살렘에 있는 우리 하느님의 집으로 가져가려고 달아 놓은 은과 금과 기물들을 넘겨받았다.

      The priests and the Levites then took over the silver, the gold, and the vessels that had been weighed out, to bring them to Jerusalem, to the house of our God. 

에즈라가 예루살렘에 다다르다     Arrival in Jerusalem

31  우리는 첫째 달 열이튿날에 예루살렘으로 가려고 아하와 강을 떠났다. 하느님의 손길이 우리를 보살펴 주셨다. 그분께서는 여행하는 동안 원수들과 매복자들의 손에서 우리를 구해 주신 것이다.

      We set out from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God remained over us, and he protected us from enemies and robbers along the way. 

32  마침내 우리는 예루살렘에 이르러 사흘 동안 쉬었다.

      We arrived in Jerusalem, where we rested for three days. 

33  나흘째 되는 날에 우리는 우리 하느님의 집에서 우리야의 아들 므레못 사제에게 은과 금과 기물들을 달아 넘겨주었는데, 그 곁에는 피느하스의 아들 엘아자르, 또 그 곁에는 레위인들인 예수아의 아들 요자밧과 빈누이의 아들 노아드야가 있었다. 

      On the fourth day, the silver, the good, and the vessels were weighed out in the house of our God and given to the priest Meremoth, son of Uriah, with whom was Eleazar, son of Phinehas; they were assisted by the Levites Jozabad, son of Jeshua, and Noadiah, son of Binnui. 

34  그것들을 하나하나 세어 무게를 달고 그 무게를 적어 두었다.

      그때에

      Everything was in order as to number and weight, and the total weight was registered. At that same time,

35  포로살이를 마치고 돌아온 유배자들이 이스라엘이 하느님께 번제물을 바쳤다. 온 이스라엘을 위하여 황소 열두 마리, 숫양 아흔여섯 마리, 어린 양 일흔일곱 마리, 속죄 제물로 숫염소 열두 마리, 이 모든 것을 주님께 번제물로 바쳤다.

      those who had returned from the captivity, the exiles, offered as burnt offerings to the God of Israel twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve goats as sin offerings; all these as a burnt offering to the LORD.

36  그러고 나서 그들은 임금의 총독들과 유프라테스 서부 지방관들에게 어명을 전하였다. 그러자 그들은 백성과 하느님의 집을 후원하였다.

    Finally, the orders of the king were presented to the king's satraps and to the governors in West-of-Euphrates, who gave their support to the people an to the house of God.
