버몬트주는 뉴잉글랜드 지역(메인, 뉴햄프셔, 매사추세츠, 코네티컷, 로드아일랜드)의 하나로 예전부터 영국계 이주민이 거주하는 지역으로 미국의 다른 주와는 달리 유럽분위기를 느낄 수 있는 지역입니다.
학교가 위치한 지역은 주택가가 아니라 조그만 시내가 형성되어 있는 곳에서 가까운 지역에 위치하고 있습니다. 차로 20분 거리에 있는 Christ the King은 Vermont에서 가장 좋은 Jr. High School로 이 학교를 8학년까지 마치고 9학년 때 같은 교구에 있는 MSJ로 전학할 수 있습니다.
총 학생수는 220명 정도이며 9-12학년을 제공하고 있으며 평균 95% 이상이 대학으로 진학하고 있습니다. 교사와 학생비율은 1:8 정도이며 18명 정도가 한 클래스를 이루고 있습니다. 교사진은 Boston College, Harvard, Juilliard, Middlebury 그리고 MIT 등 명문대학 출신이 많습니다.
학교 졸업생들은 Boston College, Boston University, Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Georgia Tech, Harvard University, NYU, Northeastern University 그리고 Syracuse University 등의 학교로 진학하고 있습니다.
