목요일에 드리는 (Prayer for Thursday)

"O Heavenly Father, full of love and grace,

I bow my head in prayer this quiet Thursday morning (or hour).

Lead me into Your holy presence, so that I may set aside the world's busy distractions for a moment and focus solely on You.

I sincerely thank You for the grace and blessings You have bestowed upon me over the past three days.

Thank You for giving me the strength to fulfill my duties and for sustaining me even through unexpected difficulties.

I confess that every moment of my life has been a manifestation of Your grace.

Please forgive me if I have, by word or deed, gone against Your will or hurt a neighbor whom I should love.

I examine my heart to see if I have harbored any pride or complaint; cleanse all my faults with Your precious blood.

Now it is Thursday, and the end of the week is in sight.

Grant me the wisdom and perseverance to complete the responsibilities entrusted to me without growing weary.

Help me maintain a healthy balance between work and rest, and between concern for myself and care for others.

In the time remaining, help me rely more on You, and hold my faith firm so that I may not be swayed by the vain temptations of the world.

Widen my heart to look upon the suffering of my neighbors who need my help and the pain of the world, and allow me to be a small light and salt right where I am.

I offer all these supplications in the name of Jesus Christ, our Shepherd.

Amen."

사랑과 은혜가 충만하신 하나님 아버지,

이 고요한 목요일 아침(또는 시간)에 머리 숙여 기도합니다.

주님의 거룩한 임재 속에 저를 이끌어 주시어, 잠시 세상의 분주함을 내려놓고 오직 주님께만 집중하게 하옵소서.

지난 사흘 동안 베풀어 주신 은혜와 축복에 진심으로 감사합니다.

맡겨진 일들을 감당할 힘을 주시고, 예상치 못한 어려움 속에서도 저를 붙들어 주셨음에 감사드립니다.

저의 삶의 모든 순간이 주님의 은혜였음을 고백합니다.

혹여 제가 말이나 행동으로 주님의 뜻을 거슬렀거나, 사랑해야 할 이웃에게 상처를 주었다면 용서하여 주십시오.

마음속에 교만이나 불평을 품지는 않았는지 살피오니, 주님의 보혈로 저의 모든 허물을 씻어 주옵소서.

이제 한 주의 끝이 보이는 목요일입니다.

지치지 않고 마지막까지 맡겨진 책임들을 잘 완수할 수 있는 지혜와 끈기를 허락하여 주십시오.

일과 휴식, 나 자신과 타인에 대한 관심 사이에서 건강한 균형을 잡도록 도와주십시오.

남은 시간 동안 더욱 주님을 의지하게 하시고, 세상의 헛된 유혹에 흔들리지 않도록 제 믿음을 굳건하게 붙들어 주옵소서.

저의 마음을 넓혀 저의 도움이 필요한 이웃과 고통받는 세상의 아픔을 돌아보게 하시고,

제가 있는 자리에서 작은 빛과 소금이 되게 하옵소서.

이 모든 간구를 우리의 목자가 되시는 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다.
