Fourteen Las Vegas Family Church members met on Wednesday for the weekly 430 Club meeting. First, they listened to the Tribnet testimony of Rev. David Kasbow from the Detroit, Michigan area. With a fun and positive spirit, he shared about his efforts visiting 88 churches in the city of Warren, Michigan. Following that, Reverend Doo emphasized that ACLC is America’s strength for witnessing. Other countries don’t have such a strong Christian foundation.
Reverend Doo also reported about recent blessing efforts at The Boulevard Mall. After that, Reverend Doo reported about where the community is at as a whole in terms of blessing accomplishments. Following the reports, Reverend Doo asked the participants what their vision is for the upcoming rally with True Mother on June 22. Akira Watanabe expressed his idea that we need to create something that people want to come to. Otherwise, we will end up burnt out after this event. Sang-moo Borneman expressed with positive energy that we can have great success with prayer and a just-do-it attitude.
After also discussing practical matters of the event, Reverend Doo encouraged the members by saying that if we trust and believe, God and True Parents will support our efforts. He also expressed his feeling that this event can be a turning point for Las Vegas Family Church. It will give us more energy and growth and it is a wonderful opportunity to fulfill our tribal messiahship missions. At the end of the meeting, the members came up with a practical strategy to move forward with witnessing. The plan is to create witnessing groups based on preferred forms of witnessing.
