Meet this lovely dog Peet!
Due to his size, his rescue kept being delayed, though he finally got rescued from a shelter couple years ago.
His friend Bread, who got rescued along with him, has already been adopted oversea, but Peet is still waiting for his forever family.
He loves people and is lovely to be around but he has had some issues before, in that he gets too excited around other dogs, so we sent him to dog training school for a few months.
It was only about his excitement and curiosity about other dogs, not aggression, as he has been living in the shelter for so long that he didn’t have a chance to learn basic social skills with other dogs. Now he has gotten so much better and he can walk outside with no issues.
Peet has gotten over his issues through the training, and now he can even stay with other dogs in the same space. He prefers to play with dogs the same size as him, as opposed to smaller dogs.
Peet is now such a perfect doggy but he will have to come back to the shelter if he can’t find a forever/fostering home (dogs in the shelter are first on the list for euthanasia).
We are looking for this lovely dog Peet’s forever/fostering home!
