God is the One who builds the temple of the Lord. In today’s passage, when Jesus attended the wedding at Cana and saw that the wine had run out, He turned water into wine, even though His time had not yet come. Furthermore, after traveling down to Capernaum and later going up to Jerusalem for the Passover, Jesus drove out those selling oxen, sheep, and doves, overturned the tables of the money changers, and told the Jews that He would destroy this temple and raise it up again in three days. We offer thanks and glory to Him for accomplishing salvation and establishing the temple through His resurrection.
