Chapter 7

7:15 Nothing outside a man can make him 'unclean' by going into him. 

사람이 외부에서 그 사람 안으로 들어가게 함으로 그를 부정하게 만들 수 있는 것은 아무 것도 없다.

17:16 Rather(오히려), it is what comes out of a man that makes him 'unclean.'"

오히려 그 사람을 부정하게 만드는 것은 사람에게서 나오는 것이다.

7:17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house,

그가 무리(군중)들을 떠나서 집으로 들어간 후에 

his disciples asked him about this parable. 그의 제자들이 그에게 이 비유에 대해 물었다.

7:18 "Are you so dull?" he asked. "너희는 그렇게 둔한가?"라고 그(예수)가 물었다.

 "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'?
외부에서 사람에게 들어가는 어떤 것도 그를 부정하게 만들 수 없다는 것을 너희는 보지 못하느냐?

7:19 For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, 

그것은 그의 마음으로 들어가지 않고 그의 위(배)로 들어가서

and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")

그의 몸 밖으로 나온다. (이것을 말하심으로, 예수께서 모든 음식물들을 깨끗하다고 선언하셨다.)

7:20 He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.'

그가 계속말씀하시기를 "사람에게서 나오는 것이 그를 부정하게 만드는 것이다."

7:21 For from within, out of men's hearts, 사람들의 내부로부터, 사람의 마음들에서 

come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery,
악한 생각들, 성적 부도덕, 도적질, 살인, 간음, 
7:22 greed(탐욕), malice(악독), deceit(기만), lewdness(음탕함), envy, slander(중상모략), arrogance and folly.(어리석은 행동) - 탐욕, 악독, 기만, 음탕함, 질투, 중상모략, 교만 그리고 어리석은 행동
해석 - 사람들의 내부, 즉 사람들의 마음들에서 악한 생각, 성적인 부도덕, 도적질, 살인, 간음, 탐욕, 악독, 기만, 음탕함, 질투, 중상모략, 교만 그리고 어리석은 행동들이 나온다.

7:23 All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'"

이 모든 악들이 내부로부터 나와서 사람을 부정하게 만든다.
