Women’s Federation for World Peace Las Vegas
Quarterly Promotional Complimentary Event
with Presenter Aimmee Kodachian
March 21, 2017
Here in Las Vegas, our WFWP chapter was proud to host a complimentary event promoting
what we are all about. We had a terrific presenter in Aimmee Kodachian, who is an
entrepreneur, professional speaker, an internet TV host and producer of three different shows.
Light hors d’oeuvres were served to approximately 130 people who attended the program,
including 10 round style tables for seating and 14 vendor tables representing local non-profit
groups and small businesses. Sixty-seven guests were hearing about WFWP for the first time.
The event was held at the IPEC, the energy was very high and all who participated enjoyed the program immensely. The program began with an hour of networking and conversation. Sera Hirano was the MC for the evening and started the program introducing Mary Hida, the WFWP-LV Chairwoman. Mrs. Hida welcomed everyone very warmly. Two musical numbers were offered by Stephanie Thompson and a traditional Korean dance was performed by Mrs. Lee Hae Ju. Mrs. Hirano then gave a very brief power point presentation showing the work and scope of the Women’s Federation and highlighted the Bridge of Peace ceremony. Stephanie then presented another song called “Rise Above” that introduced the audience to Aimmee’s story.
Aimmee did a wonderful job speaking about her own war torn experiences growing up, her message of “How to Experience Heaven on Earth”, “Giving is Living” and the need for peace in the world. She shared her passion for WFWP. There was a joyful and high spirit as people were fully engaged everywhere in the spacious ballroom. It was evident, when Aimmee had us gather
in a huge circle to conduct an experiment of unity, just how diverse the crowd of 130 people
was. Among some of the notable people who attended the event were Dr. Reeta Thukral of
Global Charities Foundation, Mrs. Gayle Anderson International Protocol Officer, City of Las
Vegas, Mr. Appo Jabarian, a Hollywood film producer of the major docudrama, Map of
Salvation, about four European women who saved hundreds of children during the Armenian
genocide, and Detective Deborah Reyes with other officers of the Las Vegas Metro Police
Female Engagement Team. The audience also got a taste of the Bridge of Peace program and
what it has to offer on the path to world peace. Four different pairs crossed the bridge each
representing different wounds that needed healing and reconciliation. The vendors each
contributed raffle prizes and a very lively raffle completed the formal program. There was still
another hour allotted for networking but even then, many people didn’t want to leave. A
WFWP follow up meeting was announced for April 27 with many people interested in attending
and becoming members. We wish to thank all the volunteers who helped, especially Mrs. Lydia
Compton and Mrs. Wendy Herstein .
Here are some of the beautiful testimonies we received about the event:
I just enjoyed an exciting evening with the Woman’s Federation for World Peace, WFWP.org,
where Aimmee Kodachian shared a keynote speech about “How to Experience Heaven on
Earth”, she talked about the importance of Giving, Forgiving, Loving and Creating. They had a
powerful Bridge of Peace #Celebration where women of diverse back rounds walked across the
bridge, gave the gift of a rose and embraced. A #powerful symbol of healing #peace.

I had a wonderful experience. I met some great people. The selection of vendors was marvelous
as well. One of my most memorable moments was when we all held hands in a circle and
displayed a connection. The event was an overall great experience for all of us I’m sure. Thank
you for having me.

Takako and I really had a great time at the event. Such a moving testimony was given by Mrs.
Kodachian. The whole night was filled with high energy and deep love. All the best to WFWP.
We have hope thanks to your love, dedication, and hard work. We wish we had an opportunity
to show off our dance moves. Maybe next time!

As an Ambassador for Peace I strive to create unity in our community. Aimmee Kodachian is a
very motivational speaker who inspires others to “Rise Above” personal trials and tribulations.
You can quote me as saying “Life is Like an International Buffet of People” - Everyone has a
tasty meal to offer, LOL-If we take to time to sample the food of others we can discover tasty
treats and see that the many colors and different spices open up a whole new world for us.
-Little J Gambino, UPF Ambassador for Peace, BMI Entertainer
We learned so much from this event and received so much wonderful help and support. But
we saw many areas in which to improve. We hope we can do an even better job next time in
the summer. See you then!
- Review from Lisa Cox -
Thank you for the invitation to attend the Women’s Federation for World Peace Celebration Event. The experience was incredible. The joy, enthusiasm and commitment of wonderful peace makers filled my heart with memories and a longing for more time. The vendors, other guests and amazing leaders in the community empowered me to continue my gest for supporting causes that touch the heart. With gratitude I appreciate the demonstration of the Bridge of Peace. That was a beautiful example of the true meaning of forgiveness and unconditional acceptance. Thank you for allowing me to see some friends and make some new ones.
The speaker, Aimmee Kodachian, shared a gripping story of courage and rising from the ashes. People often forget that Peace is not just an idea for those that have lived through war. It is a commitment to a life of serving others to prevent further losses of life, families and communities that have no choice. Her presence and active participation is a wonderful example to others that can make a difference. The speakers, songs, dances, the bridge, the guests, all a welcoming presence of a loving community. Thank you for the invitation.
