巨有(거유)는 후덕한 德(덕)을 부여 받아 德(덕)은 있으되 관직은 없는 위치에서

  Geoyu(巨有,거유) means that one is endowed with abundant virtue(德,덕),

   holding virtue yet remaining in a position without official office,

광대한 땅을 소유하여 寶貨(보화)를 저장하고 있으면서 근심을 끊고 비참함을 막는다.

  Owning vast lands and storing treasures and riches(寶貨,보화),

   thereby severing worries and preventing misery.

巨有者는 賦厚德하며 居素位하며 (거유자는 부후덕하며 거소위하며)
  One of Great possession(巨有者,거유자) is endowed with deep and generous virtue(厚德,후덕),

   while remaining in a modest, unofficial station(素位,소위),

廣有土地하며 貯有寶貨하며 絶憂愁하며 塞悲慘라 (광유토지하며 저유보화하며 절우수하며 색비참라.)

  Broadly possessing land and storing up treasures and wealth(寶貨,보화),

  Severing anxiety and sorrow(憂愁,우수), and blocking out grief and misery(悲慘,비참).
