존 밀스 대령과 트럼프의 ‘전략가‘로 알려진 스티브 배넌이 1월 4일자로 방송된 

War Room 팟캐스트에서 ‘한국에서의 중국 공산당(중공) 선거 개입’에 대해 다음 주

까지 전면적으로 방송할 예정이라고 밝힘. 밀스는 인터뷰 말미에 ‘동아시아 연구센터’의 ‘타라 오Tara O’ 박사로부터 한국 상황에 관한 최신 정보들을 업데이트 받고 있다고 

말함.

-사회자인 스티브 배넌은 “지금 한국의 상황이 급격히 통제 불능 상태로 빠져들고 

있다”며 “사실상 대통령을 체포하려는 세력에 대항해 수천 명의 사람들이 결집한 반대 시위가 벌어지고 있는데 이에 대해 설명해달라”고 함.

-밀스는 “옛 미국 군사기지인 용산 드래곤힐 로지 바로 옆에 있는 대통령 사저 앞에서 대규모 집회가 있었다. 수백, 수천 명의 한국인들이 '부정 선거 척결Stop the Steal'을 외치며 행동에 나섰다.

 한국에서 계엄령은 나쁜 역사적 배경을 가지고 있어서 많은 이들이 처음에 '이건 

나쁘다'고 반응했지만, 그의 계엄에는 전략이 있었다. 계엄이야말로 중국의 선거 개입 

증거를 확보하기 위해 중앙선거관리위원회를 급습할 수 있는 유일한 방법이었기 때문이다.“라고 한국의 상황을 전달.

-그러면서 “지금 일어나고 있는 대부분의 일은 중국이 한국을 중국의 영향력 하에 두려는 시도이기 때문에 이 상황은 매우 우려스럽고 위험하다.

현재 미국의 가장 신뢰받는 우방국인 대한민국은 중국 공산당과 맞서 싸우는 중요한 

시점에 있으며, 주류 언론과도 맞서 싸우고 있다. 특히 계엄령에 반대하는 시위 참여인원 중 상당수가 실제로는 중국인들이다. 이로 인해 중국에 반대하는 우파진영이 결집하고 있다.“고 분석.

-밀스는 이어 민주당의 이재명을 일컬어 “좌파에 친중파이며, 미군 철수를 외치고, 최근에 유죄 판결을 받은 인물”이라며 

“윤 대통령은 일본과의 관계를 재정립하길 원하며, 일본과의 과거사에도 불구하고 

일본에 손을 내밀고 있지만 이재명은 극도로 반일주의적이며, 일본과의 동맹을 깨려고 한다.

 또 윤 대통령 탄핵에 관한 찬반 투표 이후 한덕수 국무총리가 권한 대행을 맡았지만 

그가 12월 27일에 탄핵되었고 지금은 최상목이 대통령 대행을 하고 있다”며 상황을

“여의도 국회는 이재명의 실질적인 권력이 미치는 곳인데 민주당이 192석으로 국회를 장악하고 있으며, 국민의힘은 108석을 가진 보수정당이다.

• Mills responded, "There was a large gathering in front of the president’s residence, right next to the old U.S. military base, Dragon Hill Lodge in Yongsan. Hundreds and thousands of South Koreans took action, shouting 'Stop the Steal' to demand an end to election fraud. Although martial law in South Korea has a negative historical connotation, initially many people reacted with opposition, saying 'this is bad.' However, the martial law had a strategic purpose. It was the only way to secure evidence of China’s interference in the elections by raiding the National Election Commission."

• He continued, "Most of what's happening right now is an attempt by China to bring South Korea under its influence, which makes this situation very concerning and dangerous. South Korea, one of the United States’ most trusted allies, is at a critical juncture in its battle against the CCP, while also fighting against the mainstream media. Notably, a large number of participants in the protests against martial law are actually Chinese. As a result, right-wing groups opposing China are uniting."

• Mills then described Democratic Party figure Lee Jae-myung as "a left-wing, pro-China figure who advocates for the withdrawal of U.S. troops and has recently been convicted." He went on to say, "President Yoon wants to reset relations with Japan and, despite historical issues, is reaching out to Japan, but Lee Jae-myung is extremely anti-Japanese and seeks to break the alliance with Japan. After the impeachment vote of President Yoon, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo temporarily took over as acting president, but he was impeached on December 27, and now Choi Sang-mok is acting

president."

• Mills summarized the situation by saying, "In Yeouido (the National Assembly), where Lee Jae-myung holds real power, the Democratic Party controls the National Assembly with 192 seats, while the conservative People Power Party holds 108 seats.
