한집이 열집 으로 되고 열 집이 백 집으로 되어 부모의 자애와 자식의 효도가
기러기가 열을 지어 날개를 펴는 것과 같다.

  One household becomes ten, and ten households become a hundred;

  parental affection and filial piety spreading through the family in formation with open wings.

화목하고 조화를 이룸이 수풀처럼 줄지어 서 있으니
먹을 것이 넉넉하고 입을 것이 풍족하여 글 읽는 소리가 낮과 밤을 새우게 된다.

  Harmony and concord stand lined up like a thick foerst,

  Food is plentiful, clothing is abundant, and the sound of reading books resonayes day and night.

一家 化十家하고 十家 化百家하나니 (일가 화십가하고 십가 화백가하나니)

  One family multiplies into ten households,

   and ten households multiply into a hundred households;

慈孝羽列하고 睦和林立하며 裕食足衣하여 (자효우열하고 목화림립하며 유식족의하여)

  Parental love(慈,자) and filial piety(孝,효) line up like folded wings(羽列,우열),

  harmony(睦和,목화) stands thick like a forest(林立,림립),

   and food is abundant while clothing is plentiful(裕食足衣,유식족의),

書聲이 徹日夜니라. (서성이 철일야니라.)

   The sound of reading books(書聲,서성) echoes throughout day and night(徹日夜,철일야).
