33 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "The Daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come."  34 "Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has devoured us, he has thrown us into confusion, he has made us an empty jar. Like a serpent he has swallowed us and filled his stomach with our delicacies, and then has spewed us out.  35 May the violence done to our flesh be upon Babylon," say the inhabitants of Zion. "May our blood be on those who live in Babylonia," says Jerusalem.  36 Therefore, this is what the LORD says: "See, I will defend your cause and avenge you; I will dry up her sea and make her springs dry.  37 Babylon will be a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives.  38 Her people all roar like young lions, they growl like lion cubs.  39 But while they are aroused, I will set out a feast for them and make them drunk, so that they shout with laughter--then sleep forever and not awake," declares the LORD.  40 "I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams and goats.

바벨론의 멸망사(滅亡史)를 보면
바벨론왕국 전체에 걸친 전투상황이 아닌
바벨론 수도(首都)에 국한(局限) 되었음을 알게 되는데...

이러한 근거(根據)
오늘의 본문(本文) 
바벨론성(城)의 함락시(陷落時)와 상황(狀況)에 대(對)한
예정예언(豫定豫言)의 말씀임을 깨닫게 된다

메대 페르시아 연합군은
유프라데스 강물의 중앙에 있던 아마도 인공요새(人工要塞) 난공불락(難攻不落)의 바벨론성(城)을
그 물줄기의 방향을 바꿔 공격
거의 무혈입성(無血入城)이라고 일반사가(一般史家)들은 말하지만 ...어디 전쟁전장전투(戰爭戰場戰鬪)라는 것이 ...

아마도 일반백성(一般百姓)들의 피해(被害)는 최소한(最小限)이었을지라도
바벨론의 지도부(指導部)에 속(屬)한 존재(存在)들은
그 부패(腐敗)로 말미암은
철저응징(徹底膺懲)이라는 참화(慘禍)는 있었고... 그에 대(對)한 예정예언사(豫定豫言詞)가 오늘의 본문인 듯

고대(古代)의 전쟁(戰爭)이라는 것이
수도(首都)의 함락(陷落)은 곳 전국(全國)의 패망(敗亡)을 의미(意味)했다는 점(點)을 감안(勘案)하면
이스라엘의 멸망(滅亡)역시 예루살렘의 함락이 곧 망국(亡國)
전역(全域)에서 전쟁전장전투(戰爭戰場戰鬪)에 의한 참상(慘狀)이 아니었음을 오늘 깨닫게 된다

오늘도 말씀묵상을 하게 하신 하나님께 감사
만일 이렇게 묵상하지 않았더라면
나는 아마도 무지몽매(無知蒙昧) 속에서
오류(誤謬)를 진실진리(眞實眞理)로 알고 만용(蠻勇)했으리라는 아찔...!
