9:10 They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings--external regulations applying until the time of the new order.

그것은 단지 음식과 음료와 여러 가지 의식적 씻음에 관한 문제일 뿐이며, 새로운 질서가 올 때까지 적용되는 외부적 규정이다.

9:11 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, 

그리스도께서 이미 존재하는 선한 일들의 대제사장으로 오셨을 때,

he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.

그는 인간이 만든 것이 아닌, 다시 말해 이 창조물의 일부가 아닌 더 크고 더 완전한 장막을 통하여 가셨다.

9:12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves;

그는 염소와 가축들의 피를 수단으로 하여 들어가지 않으셨으나 

 but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. 자신의 피로써 단번에 지성소에 들어가 영원한 구속을 얻으셨다.

9:13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer(어린 암소) sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them

염소와 황소의 피와 암소의 재를 의식적으로 부정한 자들에게 뿌려 그들을 거룩하게 합니다.

 so that they are outwardly clean. 그들이 겉으로 깨끗하게 보이기 위하여 

해석 - 그들이 겉으로 깨끗하게 보이기 위하여 염소와 황소의 피와 암소의 재를 의식적으로 부정한 자들에게 뿌려 그들을 거룩하게 한다.

9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished(흠없는) to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

그러면 영원한 성령을 통하여 흠 없는 자기를 하나님께 드린 그리스도의 피가 어찌 우리의 양심을 죽음에 이르는 행실에서 깨끗하게 하여 살아 계신 하나님을 섬기게 하지 않겠는가!

9:15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, 

이 이유 때문에 그리스도께서 새 언약의 중보자이시다.

that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

부르심을 받은 자들은 약속된 영원한 기업을 받게 될 것이며 이는 그가 첫 언약 아래서 지은 죄로부터 그들을 자유롭게 하기 위해 대속물로 죽으셨기 때문이다.

9:16 In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it,

유언의 경우에는 유언을 작성한 사람의 사망을 증명하는 것이 필수적이다.

9:17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; 

유언은 누군가가 죽었을 때에만 효력이 있기 때문이다.

it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.

그것을 만든 사람이 살아 있는 동안에는 결코 효력이 발생하지 않는다.

9:18 This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.

이것이 첫 언약조차도 피 없이는 효력을 발생할 수 없었던 이유이다.

9:19 When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, 

모세가 모든 백성에게 율법의 모든 계명을 선포하였을 때

he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet(진홍색) wool and branches of hyssop(우슬초), and sprinkled the scroll and all the people.

그는 송아지의 피와 물과 진홍색 양털과 우슬초 가지를 가져다가 두루마리와 모든 백성에게 뿌렸다.
