  Form 5 : Gangnyeong(康寧,강령)... Peace and good health without adversity... Article 327.  

康寧(강령)은 좋은 가문에서 태어나 꽃다운 모습이 짝을 찾기 어려울 정도이고,

  Gangnyeong(康寧,강령) means being born into a noble family with a fair appearance

   so rare it is hard to match,

 
비단옷과 고기 반찬으로 자라나 몸이 맑고 건강하여 안락하게 나이를 먹으니

  Being raised in fine silk clothes and delicious meats,

   maintaining a clear and healthy body, and aging comfortably,

달고 쓴 것이 들려 오지 않는 것이다.

  Such that news of sweet or bitter trials(worldly ups and downs) never reaches one′s ears.

康寧者는 生於吉門하여 (강령자는 생어길문하여)

  One of Peaceful Health(康寧者,강령자) is born into an auspicious and noble household(吉門,길문),

英姿罕儔하고 長於錦臠하여 (영자한주하고 장어금련하여)

  Possesses outstanding appearance and grace(英姿,영자) so rare that few can match it(罕儔,한주),

  and grows up surrounded by luxury and fine garments(錦臠,금련),

身體淸健허며 老於安樂하여 (신체정건허며 노어안락하여)

  Maintains a body that is clear and robust(淸健,청건), growing old in peace and comfort(安樂,안락),

甘苦 不入聞이니라. (감고 불입문이니라.)

  Such that the sweet and bitter affairs of the world(甘苦,감고) never enter one′s hearing.

 [Explanation, 풀이]

前世(전세)에 정성을 드린 것이 當世(당세)에 應(응)하니 좋은 가문에서 부귀복록을 누리게 된다.

  The sincerity devoted in a rrevions life(前世,전세) responds in the present life(當世,당세),

  allowing one to enjoy wealth, honor, blessings, and prosperity in a noble family.
