Bible Reading - Hebrews 9:20~28

9:20 He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep."

"이것은 하나님께서 너희가 지키도록 명령하셨던 언약의 피이다."라고 그가 말씀하셨다.  

9:21 In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. 같은 방식으로 그는 장막과 그것의 예식에서 사용되었던 모든 것들을 피로 뿌렸다. 

9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

사실 율법은 거의 모든 것들이 피로 깨끗하게 되기를 요구하며 피 흘림이 없이는 사죄함도 없다.

9:23 It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, 하늘에 있는 것들의 모형들이 이 희생제사로 정결케 되는 것이 필수적이었으나

but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

하늘에 있는 것들은 이것들보다 더 나은 희생제사로 그들 자신이 (정결케 되는 것이 필수적이었다.)

9:24 For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; 

그리스도께서는 오직 참된 것의 모형이었던 사람이 만든 성소로 들어가지 않으셨기 때문에 

he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence.

그는 하나님의 임재 속에서 우리를 위해 이제 나타나심으로 하늘 그 자체에 들어가셨다.

9:25 Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, 

그는 그 자신을 드리려고 반복적으로 하늘로 들어가지 않으셨고

the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.

대제사장이 매년 자기의 피가 아닌 다른 피를 가지고 지성소에 들어가는 방식으로

해석 - 그는 대제사장이 매년 자기의 피가 아닌 다른 피를 가지고 지성소에 들어가는 방식으로 그 자신을 드리시려고 반복적으로 하늘로 들어가지 않으셨다.

9:26 Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. 

그러면 그리스도께서 세상의 창조이후로 여러번 고난 받으셔야만 했을 것이다. 

But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.

그러나 이제 그는 세상 끝에 모두를 위해 한번 나타나셔서 자기를 제사로 드려 죄를 없게 하셨다.

9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, 사람이 한 번 죽는 것은 정해진 것처럼,

and after that to face judgment, 그 후에는 심판에 직면하게 된다.

9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people;

그러므로 그리스도께서도 많은 사람의 죄를 없애시려고 한 번 희생되셨다;

and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. 그리고 그는 죄를 짊어 지시려는 것이 아니라 그를 기다리는 자들에게 구원을 가져오시려고 두번째 나타나실 것이다.
