As part of Human-Nature, the British Council’s 3-year programme in Malaysia exploring the role of the arts and creative approaches to highlight climate adaptation, we’re excited to launch TIME OF THE RIVERS, an artist fellowship programme by Radical Ecology and Borneo Bengkel in partnership with the British Council Malaysia.

Running from March to September 2025, the programme includes online mentoring, immersive field visits in Borneo and the UK, and an online showcase of research and new works.

We invite applications from Malaysian and UK artists engaging with ecological and social themes. The 2 UK and 2 Malaysia fellows will receive fully covered expenses, and a stipend of £100/day for 34 days.

영국 의회가 말레이시아에서 기후 적응을 강조하기 위해 예술과 창의적인 접근 방식의 역할을 탐구하는 3년간의 프로그램인 휴먼 네이처의 일환으로, 우리는 영국 의회 말레이시아와 협력하여 Radical Ecology와 보르네오 벵켈의 예술가 펠로우십 프로그램인 '타임 오브 더 리버스'를 시작하게 되어 매우 기쁩니다.
2025년 3월부터 9월까지 진행되는 이 프로그램에는 온라인 멘토링, 보르네오와 영국에서의 몰입형 현장 방문, 연구 및 신작 온라인 쇼케이스 등이 포함됩니다.
말레이시아와 영국의 생태 및 사회적 주제를 다루는 아티스트들의 신청을 초대합니다. 영국 2명과 말레이시아 2명의 펠로우에게는 전액 경비가 지원되며, 34일 동안 하루에 100파운드의 수당이 지급됩니다.
