 (겔17:1-10)
1 The word of the LORD came to me:  2 "Son of man, set forth an allegory and tell the house of Israel a parable.  3 Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: A great eagle with powerful wings, long feathers and full plumage of varied colors came to Lebanon. Taking hold of the top of a cedar,  4 he broke off its topmost shoot and carried it away to a land of merchants, where he planted it in a city of traders.  5 "'He took some of the seed of your land and put it in fertile soil. He planted it like a willow by abundant water,  6 and it sprouted and became a low, spreading vine. Its branches turned toward him, but its roots remained under it. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out leafy boughs.  7 "'But there was another great eagle with powerful wings and full plumage. The vine now sent out its roots toward him from the plot where it was planted and stretched out its branches to him for water.  8 It had been planted in good soil by abundant water so that it would produce branches, bear fruit and become a splendid vine.'  9 "Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will it thrive? Will it not be uprooted and stripped of its fruit so that it withers? All its new growth will wither. It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it up by the roots.  10 Even if it is transplanted, will it thrive? Will it not wither completely when the east wind strikes it--wither away in the plot where it grew?'"  

첫 번째 독수리는 바벨론왕 느브갓네살을 의미
레바논의 상수리 나무는 아마도 유다왕 여호야긴
그가 BC597 왕이 된 지 3개월만에 바벨론으로 포로가 되어 잡혀가고
이어 바벨론에 의해 시드기야를 세운 사건을 비유(比喩)한 것

두 번째 독수리는 애굽을 상징
시드기야의 반바벨론 친애굽 정책으로 
바벨론의 반감을 사서
결국 처참한 결과를 맞이하게 되었다는 ...

하나님은 오늘의 말씀을 통해서 
바벨론도 아닌
애굽도 아닌
오직 하나님만을 섬겼어야 했다는 말씀을 하고 계심을 묵시(默示)하고 계심을 알게 하신다

오늘날의 상황을 말하자면
인본자본이기적(人本資本利己的)이라 할 수 있겠다 싶다
하여 시드기야처럼 하나님이 아닌 땅의 가시적세력(可視的勢力)에 의존(依存)
하나님이 아닌 잘못된 주소(住所)에 생존전략(生存戰略)을 세우는 것을 보면...

(이사야 55:2) 의 말씀이 생각난다
“너희가 어찌하여 양식 아닌 것을 위하여 은을 달아 주며, 배부르게 못할 것을 위하여 수고하느냐? 내게 듣고 들을지어다. 그리하면 너희가 좋은 것을 먹을 것이며, 너희 마음이 기름진 것으로 즐거움을 얻으리라.”

하나님이 답(答)인데...
그것을 모르는 인류(人類)는
불나방이 되어 불속을 향하여 돌진하고 있는 것을 본다
결국 그 불이 자신을 태워 죽게 할 것이라는 사실을 모른채...

수많은 사람들이 계20:14 계21:8로 달려가고 있음을 보는데...
정작 나는 아무것도 하지 않는 사람같은 삶을 살고 있다
나는 목사(牧師)인데...

지금까지의 것으로 만족하지 못하는 나는
오늘도 
나의 주 역사의 주관자 하나님을 향하여
애뜻한 눈길을 보내며 자비긍휼(慈悲矜恤)을 구(求)하는 하루를 열고 있다
