[밀부르가]

씨뿌리는 사람의 비유를 설명하시다

13  예수님께서 또 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 이 비유를 알아듣지 못하겠느냐? 그러면서 어떻게 모든 비유를 깨달을 수 있겠느냐?    Jesus said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?

14  씨 뿌리는 사람은 실상 말씀을 뿌리는 것이다.

      The sower sows the word.

15  말씀이 길에 뿌려지는 것은 이러한 사람들을 두고 하는 말이다. 그들이 말씀을 들으면 곧바로 사탄이 와서 그들 안에 뿌려진 말씀을 앗아 가버린다.

      These ard the ones on the path where the word is sown. As soon as they hear, Satan comes at once and takes away the word sown in them. 

16  그리고 말씀이 돌밭에 뿌려지는 것은 이러한 사람들이다. 그들은 말씀을 들으면 곧 기쁘게 받는다.

      And these are the ones sown on rocky gound who, when they hear the word, receive it at once with joy.

17  그러나 그들에게 뿌리가 없어서 오래가지 못한다. 그래서 말씀 때문에 환난이나 박해가 일어나면 곧 걸려 넘어지고 만다.

      But they have no root; they last only for a time. Then when tribulation or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 

18  말씀이 가시덤불 속에 뿌려지는 것은 또 다른 사람들이다. 이들은 말씀을 듣기는 하지만,

      Those sown among thorns are another sort.They are the people who hear the word,

19  세상 걱정과 재물의 유혹과 그 밖의 여러 가지 욕심이 들어가, 그 말씀의 숨을 막아 버려 열매를 맺지 못한다.

      but worldly anziety, the lure of riches, and the craving for other things intrude and choke the word, and it bears no fruit. 

20  그러나 말씀이 좋은 땅에 뿌려진 것은 이러한 사람들이다. 그들은 말씀을 듣고 받아들여, 어떤 이는 서른 배, 어떤 이는 예순 배, 어떤 이는 백 배의 열매를 맺는다."

      But those sown on rich soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit thirty and sixty and a hundredfold."

등불의 비유  Parable of the Lamp

21  예수님께서 또 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "누가 등불을 가져다가 함지 속이나 침상 밑에 놓겠느냐? 등경 위에 놓지 않느냐? 

      He said to them, "Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket or under a bed, and not to be place on a lampstand?"

22  숨겨진 것도 드러나기 마련이고 감추어진 것도 드러나게 되어 있다.

      For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light. 

23 누구든지 들을 귀가 있거든 들어라."

      Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear."

24  예수님께서 다시 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 새겨들어라. 너희가 되어서 주는 만큼 되어서 받고 거기에 더 보태어 받을 것이다.  He also told them, "Take care what you hear. The measure with which you measure will be measured out to you, and still more will be given to you.

25  정녕 가진 자는 더 받고 가진 것 없는 자는 가진 것마저 빼앗길 것이다."

      To the one who has, more will be given; from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

저절로 자라는 씨앗의 비유  Seed Grows of Itself

26  예수님께서 또 말씀하셨다. "하느님의 나라는 이와 같다. 어떤 사람이 땅에 씨를 뿌려 놓으면, 

      He said, "This is how it is with the kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land

27  밤에 자고 낮에 일어나고 하는 사이에 씨는 싹이 터서 자라는데, 그 사람은 어떻게 그리되는지 모른다.

      and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would wprout and grow, he knows not how.

28  땅이 저절로 열매를 맺게 하는데, 처음에는 줄기가, 다음에는 이삭이 나오고 그다음에는 이삭에 낟알이 영근다.

      Of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. 

29  곡식이 익으면 그 사람은 곧 낫을 댄다. 수확 때가 되었기 때문이다."

      And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, for the harvest has come."

겨자씨의 비유  The Mustard Seed

30  예수님께서 다시 말씀하셨다. "하느님이 나라를 무엇에 비길까? 무슨 비유로 그것을 나타낼까?

      He said, "To what shall we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use for it?

31  하느님의 나라는 겨자씨와 같다. 땅에 뿌릴 때에는 세상의 어떤 씨앗보다도 작다. 

      It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth. 

32  그러나 땅에 뿌려지면 자라나서 어떤 풀보다도 커지고 큰 가지들을 뻗어, 하늘의 새들이 그 그늘에 깃들일 수 있게 된다."

      But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches so that the birds of sky can dwell in its shade."

비유를 들어 가르치시다

33  예수님께서는 그들이 알아들을 수 있을 정도로, 이처럼 많은 비유로 말씀을 하셨다.

      With many such parables he spoke the word to them as they were able to understand it. 

34  비유를 들지 않고는 그들에게 말씀하지 않으셨다. 그러나 당신의 제자들에게는 따로 모든 것을 풀이해 주셨다. 

      Without parables he did not speak to them, but to his own disciples he explained everything in private.
