MCM Triathlon

Sunday, 18^th March, saw the second occurrence of the MCM Triathlon with nearly 450 pupils, beaks, parents and external athletes taking part in age groups ranging from Under 6 through to Under 18 for the pupils as well as an open age category. The event meant that the MCM campus again came into its own, as a fantastic sporting theatre.

The day started with the U6 race, in which over 20 junior triathletes competed. Many of them had never attempted a triathlon before, so the 25m swim, 300m cycle and 300m run around court was the perfect introduction. As expected, it was a frenetic affair with one of the main challenges being the transitioning between the three disciplines.
