福(복)이 무거우면 큰 영화가 있어서  대대로 爵位(작위)와 祿(록)이 있어서
부귀가 끊임이 없어 영웅과 준걸이 서로 계승하여 그 가문이 빛나게 된다.

  If blessings are weighty, there is great honor and prosperity,

  with titles of nobility and official salaries passed down through generations.

  Wealth and honor flow without end, as heroes and outstanding people succeed one another,

  bringing glory to the family.

福重則大榮이니 世有爵祿하여 (복중즉대영이니 세유작록하여)

  If blessings are heavy, there is great,

  and peerage titles and official stipends are held through generations;

富貴不絶하고 英俊相承하여 門戶煥爀이니라. (부귀불절하고 영준상승하여 문호환혁이니라.)

  Wealth and nobility continue without cease,

  heroes and outstanding talents succeed one another,

  bringing brilliant splendor to the family household.
