트럼프도 평화를 위한 중재자 역할을 하는데, 앨버니지 총리는 거꾸로 하니?

도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 러시아·우크라이나 전쟁을 중재하며 평화를 위한 중재자 역할을 하고 있다. 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 볼로디미르 젤렌스키 우크라이나 대통령과 블라디미르 푸틴 러시아 대통령과 3자 회담을 주선하겠다고 밝혔기 때문이다. 3년 반을 끌어 온 우크라이나 전쟁이 최종적으로 평화협정에 이를 것인지에 관심이 쏠리고 있다.

캐롤라인 레빗 백악관 대변인은 어제 브리핑에서 트럼프 대통령의 천국 발언이 농담인지, 아니면 우크라이나 평화 합의를 중재하려는 영적인 동기가 있느냐는 질문에 “난 대통령이 진지했다고 생각한다. 난 대통령이 천국에 가고 싶어 한다고 생각한다”고 답했다.

올해 79세인 트럼프 대통령은 대선 기간인 작년 7월 펜실베이니아주 버틀러에서 열린 유세에서 암살 시도를 가까스로 비껴간 이후 이 경험이 자신을 바꿨다고 말했지만, 평소 삶과 죽음에 관해 자주 이야기하는 성격은 아닌 것으로 알려져 있다.

실제로 우크라이나 전쟁이 단기간 내 끝나지는 않는다 하더라도, 러시아도 마냥 고집을 부리기에는 장기전쟁으로 인한 피로감이 경제적으로나 심리적으로 누적되어 있어 올해 내 무슨 소식이 들릴 가능성은 높아 보인다.

이런 판국에 호주 앤서니 앨버니지 총리는 트럼프 대통령의 위의 행동 접근과 정반대로 거꾸로 가고 있다.

국제사회에서 앨버니지 총리의 속 좁은 접근, 특히 자국에 지대한 공헌을 한 공익신고자를 거꾸로 완전히 파산내어버리는 사실이 그 대표적인 예이다.

호주는 그린란드보다 약 3.5배 더 큰 약 770만 제곱킬로미터의 면적을 가지고 있어 대륙이라 불리는데, 바로 바다 건너에 있는 아시아에게 동반자적 입장이나 공존의 입장이 아니라 오로지 ‘자기만 살려는 아집’이라는 시대를 거꾸로 가는 철학에 스스로 체인을 더 강하게 매고 있다.

더구나 백호주의 고집 당시 자신의 어두운 면을 드러내지 않기 위해 병행한 ‘비공개 제도’를 지금과 같은 시대에도 버리지 않고 존속시키며, 특히 호주 앤서니 앨버니지 총리의 반세계적이고 반-동반자적인 ‘호주 밖 일정규모 반출액에 대한 10% 예탁금 강제제도’로 발생하는 호주 고위공무원의 대규모 뇌물비리 사건 등에 이 제도를 활용하며, 자신의 치부를 숨기고 있는 실정이다.

왜 2024년 6월에 호주 정부에 USD18M 국고 수입에 기여한 공익신고자인 내가 호주 정부에 고맙다는 말 한 마디도 못 듣고, 호주 법무장관 등은 무려 3번의 거짓 약속으로 드러난 정부문서를 발행하며 거꾸로 공익신고자의 모든 재산을 강탈하는 행위를 버젓이 하는 태도는 트럼프 대통령의 천국 발언과 매우 정반대 현상인 것이다.

이런 식으로 호주 내국인 100명도 하지 못한 일을 2024년2월6일 호주 정부 소유 국영은행장의 대규모 뇌물부패 사건을 신고한 공익신고자인 저를 거꾸로 호주 정부가 지옥으로 보내는 게 확정된다면, 캐롤라인 레빗 백악관 대변인의 어제 브리핑은 다음과 같이 변형될 것이다.

“난 앤소니 앨버니지 총리가 자신의 치부를 숨기는데에만 최선을 다했다고 생각한다. 그렇기 때문에 난 그가 지옥에 가고 싶어 한다고 생각한다”

거꾸로 가는 앨버니지 총리는 나의 다음 질문에 대답을 하기를 촉구한다.

대체 앤서니 앨버니지 총리는 이딴 식으로 ‘2024년 6월 승소한 재판승소금을 1년 이상 국제법에 반하는 이중처벌과 3번의 정부문서 약속 위배를 통해 교묘하게 장기 거짓말로 공익신고자의 모든 재산을 강탈’하는 나쁜 버릇은 어디에서 배운 것이고, 자신이 호주 나라 전체를 평화의 반대편으로 장기적으로 몰아넣는 중재자라는 역할을 그동안 철저하게 했다는 사실이 언제까지 숨겨질 것이라고 생각하나?

앨버니 총리가 이런 식이니 호주 법무장관의 자기 밖에 모르는 처신은 더 심하고, 이 장관의 지시를 그대로 추종하는 호주 법무부 스페셜포스팀장은 더 극단적으로 히틀러 수준의 자기 밖에 모르는 이기주의 극치로 ‘호주에 너무 큰 공헌을 한 공익신고자’의 피를 먹는 흡혈귀 역할을 하고 있는 것이다.

그러니 제발 앤서니 총리부터 정신차리기를 바란다.

히틀러가 2차 대전 당시 어떠한 논리로 유태인의 살껍질을 벗겼는지를 살펴봐라.

극단적으로 자기만 생각하는 이기주의 극치 논리로 그러한 것이다!
