성전에서 흐르는 물 아라바를 채우다

(겔47:1-12)
1 The man brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar.  2 He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was flowing from the south side.  3 As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep.  4 He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist.  5 He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in--a river that no one could cross.  6 He asked me, "Son of man, do you see this?" Then he led me back to the bank of the river.  7 When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river.  8 He said to me, "This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Sea. When it empties into the Sea, the water there becomes fresh.  9 Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live.  10 Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds--like the fish of the Great Sea.  11 But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.  12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing."  

'아라바'는 팔레스타인을 남북으로 가로지르는 길고 좁은 저지대, 즉 지구대(rift valley)를 의미 
좁게는 사해(Dead Sea)에서 홍해의 아카바 만까지 이어지는 에돔 산지와 네게브 산지 사이의 골짜기
넓게는 갈릴리 바다(긴네렛 바다)에서 요단 계곡을 따라 아카바 만에 이르는 전 지역을 포함
사해를 '아라바 바다' 또는 '아라바에 있는 바다'라고 지칭하기도 (※신3:17; 겔 47:8)
아라바 계곡은 연평균 강우량이 25mm 정도로 매우 건조하고 황량한 사막 지역

그러니까 오늘날까지 이어지는 사해바다
아라바 지역의 자연환경은
출3:8,17 신6:3 본래는 풍성비옥자연환경(豊盛肥沃自然環境)이었던 그곳이
이스라엘 민족의 가나안 유입후(流入後)
그들이 지은 죄악(罪惡)으로 인하여 점진저주효과(漸進咀呪效果)때문 이라는 나의 생각과 판단(判斷)이
옳았다는 발견을 
오늘의 본문을 통해서 확신하게 된다

2025년 기준,  약 –439.78미터(1,443피트) 낮은 사해(死海)의 해수면(海水面)
매년 약 1미터씩 계속 낮아지고 있다는 사해(死海)
그러나 아마도 최후심판후(最後審判後) 회복(回復)될 그곳은
다시 이스라엘 민족 유입이전(流入以前)으로 환원(還元)
다시 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 비옥(肥沃)한 땅이 되고
그 물은 흘러 넘쳐 홍해로 흘러 들어갈 것이라는 말씀

하나님의 성전에서 흘러 나오는 물이 그렇게 된다는 사실은
하나님의 은혜로 말미암아
하나님 만이
할 수 있는 그러한 일들이
장차 벌어지게 될 것이라는 묵시(默示)와
그러니 최후심판(最後審判) 혹은 개인종말(個人終末)이 이르기 전에
하나님께 돌아오라는 메시지를 담은 것이 오늘의 본문이라는 생각이 든다

본문은 하나님의 성전(聖殿)이라는 표현(表現)을 사용했지만
나는 그 성전(聖殿)이 성전(聖典) 곧 성경(聖經)을 의미(意味)한다 믿는다
하여 성경독청묵기적(聖經讀聽黙祈適) 왕제중양(往弟重養) 언지신행일치(言知信行一致) 자왕파왕(自往派往)이야말로
하나님의 성전에서 흘러 나오는 생수와 같아
아라바 같은 환경을 환원(還元)시키고
인생(人生)들의 존재변화(存在變化)
성화(聖化)  견인(堅忍Perseverance of the Saints)을 거쳐 영화(榮化Glorification)
새하늘과 새땅의 누림
오늘의 본문 성취(成就)를 보게 될 것인데... 하는 생각

오늘도 난
주님을 본다
결코 나 로서는 이룰 수 없는 그것

그 말씀의 은혜가 내게 이르게 하실 수도 있다는 가능성의 믿음
히11:1의 성취의 가능성에 매달려
가장 불쌍한 마음의 표정을 하나님께 지어 보인다
