서류와 영수증을 보내래서 보냈더니 이런 답장이 왔는데 해석하기가 좀 벅차네요 ㅜㅠ

Thank you for your application to cancel the vehicle’s registration.

Unfortunately, the Department of Transport and Main Roads is unable to process this transaction as our records indicate that you are not the Queensland registered operator.

Section 54 of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management - Vehicle Registration) Regulation 2010 only allows for cancellation of registration at the registered operator’s request.

If you have acquired this vehicle, you may apply for transfer of the vehicle’s registration. One of the requirements for transfer is that a Queensland garaging address must be provided for the vehicle. Please refer to checklist for other requirements to be met.

It is noted that you have supplied an interstate address on the Cancellation of Registration application. If you have acquired this vehicle and you are unable to provide a Queensland garaging address to effect a transfer, it is recommended that you contact the disposer to arrange for them to cancel the vehicle’s registration.

Transfer Requirement Checklist

¨ Vehicle Registration Transfer Application (form F3520) must be completed, in full by both the disposer and the acquirer.

· If the disposer's signature is unable to be obtained, proof of legal ownership must be supplied. A purchase receipt containing the disposer's signature is sufficient.


o Identification is required:

· Identification is required as per the attached Evidence of Identity Requirements for private individuals. If you are an interstate licence holder, QT will accept certified copies when application is received by mail. Also a completed New Customer Application (Individual) Form F3503 is required.
· Businesses or Organisations must provide suitable business/company organisation identification such as a copy of your certificate of registration. Also complete New Customer Application (Organisation) Form F3503

□ Garage Address required: (Must be met or transfer can’t proceed.)

· Evidence of a Queensland garage address for the vehicle is required. This is-

o A recent Council rate notice in your name
o A recent utility (gas, electricity, phone) account in your name
o A recent bank statement in your name


o A transfer fee of $23.60 is payable.


o Duty is payable (vehicles re-registered interstate are NOT exempt from Queensland duty requirement, even if you have already transferred the vehicle into your name with an interstate authority.) It is calculated:
o Hybrids/Electric vehicles - $2.00 in every $100.00
o Up to 4 cylinder or 2 rotor and steam vehicles - $3.00 in every $100.00
o 5 or 6 cylinder or 3 rotor vehicles - $3.50 in every $100.00
o 7 or more cylinder vehicles - $4.00 in every $100.00
o Stamp duty does not apply to trailers and caravans.


o A Safety Certificate or Certificate of Inspection, issued by a Queensland Approved Inspection Station is required.
§ When a Queensland registered vehicle is offered for sale in a registered condition, a Safety Certificate must be produced by the seller in order for the sale to be legal.
§ Vehicles re-registered interstate are NOT exempt from Queensland safety certificate requirements.


o If the vehicle is fitted with LP gas or gas appliances a certificate from an authorised gas installer.


o Fees are payable by cheque or money order direct to Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads and needs to be attached to the paperwork.

일단 답변 감사드립니다! 빅로드에서는 바꿀때 퀸즈랜드차량이라 퀸즈랜드트랜스팟이랑 직접 연락해서 받으라고 하더라구요 그래서 전화해서 3517서류랑 영수증 보내라고 해서 보냈는데 저런 답변이 왔네요
